A video shown at Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel’s US6.5 million wedding is openly mocking homeless people.
According to Gawker, the video was made by a friend of the couple, that tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at the $1000-a-night Borgo Egnazia resort in Puglia, Itatly last Friday.
The 8:30 minutes clip, titled Greetings from Your Hollywood Friends Who Just Couldn’t Make It, featured interviews with what Gawker reports “homeless people, street musicians, and transsexuals.”
A man with missing teeth tells the couple, “Justin and Jessica, I haven’t seen you for a long time – I hope the wedding goes fine for you. My gift is in the mail.”
Another shoot sees an homeless man saying, “Jeez I miss you so much. I wish I could be there.”
Gawker identified Timberlake’s friend, real estate agent Justin Huchel, as the filmmaker and published a letter by his attorney.
“Mr. Huchel made [the] video to be used and exhibited privately at Justin Timberlake’s wedding as a private joke without Mr. Timberlake’s knowledge.”
It is not known if philanthropists Timberlake and Biel enjoyed the tasteless “joke”.
