According to a recent interview of rapper Too Short by Hip Hop Dx, there was an industry wide plot to keep conscious rap music out of the mainstream in the 1990’s.
We’ve long been led to believe that most rappers’ material is only about sex and negative imagery, but anyone who’s ever been close to the heart of the music, knows that this is just not so – now Too Short, an industry veteran, speaks out on this very subject in quite an interesting manner.
