(HEAT EXCLUSIVE) Cincinnati’s own A-Money drops hot new project

In the entertainment world, especially where music artists are concerned, you have to have something special that stands out. Cincinnati rapper/entertainment personality A-Money has that special combination of lyrical ability and personality – qualities we don’t hear as often as we’d like. A-Money’s here to fill that void by providing quality music that stands the test of time. In his words, “They know.” One listen and you’ll understand why “THEY KNOW”.

A-Money’s a real street cat with the business acumen to turn his career into a lasting and profitable venture for many years to come. We caught up with him recently and here’s what he had to say:

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: Who were the 3 most important influences on your life?

A-MONEY: My grandmother – that’s where I learned intellect and how to articulate. The other two are street nigg*s – they street nigg*s so I ain’t gone say they name.

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: What do you feel sets you apart from your counterparts?

A-MONEY: You should be able to hear the difference in my voice. This music is made from real sh*t, from a real nigg* to all real nigg*s. They know.

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: What new projects are you currently working on?

A-MONEY: Aw man, all kind of sh*t coming up. I’m droppin “Guadalajara” which is straight dope and will be available on iTunes and wherever u get yo music real soon. “Trappin” will be available on iTunes, Spotify, all that July 4th.

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: What do you believe is the single most important piece of advice you can give a young entertainer who is just starting out?

A-MONEY: Shid, I’m a young entertainer just starting out so all I can say is try to learn shit like I am. Feel me?

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: You’ve already worked with some amazing and legendary entertainers. If you could pick 5 other artists or producers with whom you’d like to work, who would that be and why?

A-MONEY: That’s a good ass question. So many people, but I will say Kanye and T.I. “Ye vs. the people starring T.I as the people” made me start back f*cking with this music sh*t. It was genius and innovative. Also, Big Juice the producer, the Migos, Rihanna and Baby Soljia. It’s a lot more; I just tried to touch on some different areas.

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: Where can your fans expect to see you in the next 5 years?

A-MONEY: Ha Ha ….. sh*t, it depends on how they continue to take a nigg* music. 5 years, I can either be on Hollywood Boulevard, or back on Reading Road. Feel me?
