Saturday, January 10, 2015, 10:02 a.m., EST: The charges against George Zimmerman were aggravated assault and domestic violence with a weapon. He was granted $5,000 bond by the judge. The news outlet also reports:
Zimmerman is prohibited from entering Volusia County and must surrender all firearms by Tuesday. He will also wear a GPS monitoring device.
He is due back in court at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 17 in front of Judge Donna McIntosh….
In November 2013, deputies were called out to an Apopka home after they said he cocked and pointed a shotgun at his girlfriend Samatha Schiebe and then barricaded himself inside. The incident came after Schiebe said she ordered him to move out.
