A Florida woman was arrested this week after she was caught on camera kicking a 15-month-old girl in the head and dragging her by her feet.
According to Fox 8, the baby was in the care of Linda Klem, an employee at Kids Stop and Play Daycare in Pasco County on Saturday. After the child’s mother picked her up from the daycare, she noticed her daughter had an abrasion above her eye. Police found surveillance video of Klem kicking the girl in the head while she slept. She was also seen kicking the child in the buttocks.
Klem was charged with child abuse and was released from jail on a $5,000 bond. She denied kicking the baby in the head and didn’t give a reason as to why she kicked her on her backside. Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco says the video was very difficult to watch.
“The mother did what was right. She was adamant that something had occurred. She went back to the location from there she went to the hospital,” said Nocco.
