The U.S. Supreme Court Friday rejected Texas’ attempt to overturn the presidential election in Georgia and three other states.
In a brief decision, the court said Texas lacked standing to bring the lawsuit. ”Texas has not demonstrated a judicially cognizable interest in the manner in which another state conducts its elections,” the court said. It rejected numerous other motions – including President Donald Trump’s attempt to intervene in the case – as moot.
