Attacker Chased Woman Off 14 Storey Balcony Over BIRTHDAY GIFTS To Her Daughter

An accused knife-wielding woman who chased another off a 14-storey balcony was a young mother angry that the victim was giving her 3-year-old daughter birthday gifts, according to the victim’s family.

Sienna Edwards, 20, plunged to her death off the New York apartment building after making a secret 911 call in which the operator heard voices in the background saying, ‘you’re not going to get out of here alive’.

Accused attacker Kenya Edmonds, 23, was arraigned on murder charges and held without bail Friday in Thursday evening’s death outside the Bronx apartment building.

Ms Edwards had gone to deliver the birthday gifts as a favour to her boyfriend’s cousin.

‘[Edmonds] was mad because Sienna came to her house for her baby’s father, Ms Edwards’ boyfriend, Timothy Smith, 23, said the attacker chased her to her death in what he alleged was a case of mistaken identity.

Prosecutors said Ms Edwards attempted to jump from one balcony to another on the building in an attempt to escape her attacker, but fell.
