Alicia Keys Is Alive Again Digital Death’ Campaign Hits $1 Million

Thanks to a big donation from philanthropist Stewart Rahr, Keep A Child Alive — the charity run by Alicia Keys passed the 1million mark . Last week, several celebrities, including Lady Gaga, Usher and Justin Timberlake, signed off of social media
until Keep A Child Alive reached her fundraising goal. Several promoted
the effort by posing in caskets for posters that featured a headline
saying, for example, “Alicia Keys Is Dead.”

“@aliciakeys is alive!,” Keys tweeted
Monday evening. “We raised $1mil. to help KCA fight AIDS & save
lives! Thank u so much & never stop buying life! … Big Shout to
YOU!! ALL THE ARTISTS involved!!! And STEWIE RAH!!!”
