A cheerleader is suing an NFL American football team for discrimination after they sacked her because she was photographed in a painted-on bikini for Playboy.
Malori Wampler, 27, has filed the lawsuit against the Indianapolis Colts who fired her in November after the old photographs surfaced.
Wampler insists she did nothing wrong because she did not break the code of conduct issued by the Colts, which state cheerleaders must refrain from ‘any act that will or may create notoriety.’
The photographs were taken before she was employed by the Colts, when she was working for Playboy magazine, and her private parts were covered in the images.
Wampler, who earned $100 for each game and promotional appearance with the Colts, did not pose naked for Playboy but did appear at golf events to promote the company.
The photographs came to light when they were sent to the club by a concerned fan.
