Man robs woman, shows up for work at Little Rock McDonald’s

Authorities say a man is behind bars after he threatened a woman with a knife and stole her purse. Little Rock police say while officers were on patrol, they were flagged down by a woman who said she had been approached by a black male, later identified as

The woman said Watkins told her to give him her purse while pointing a knife at her and saying, “I’ll stick you in the neck with it.” She said Watkins than grabbed her purse off her shoulder and ran.

The victim told police she began yelling for help, at which point unknown individuals told her they thought Watkins worked at the McDonald’s located on Broadway Street.

According to the report, officers transported the victim to the McDonald’s where she was able to identify Watkins.

When police entered the McDonald’s, they reported speaking with Watkins who said he worked at that location, and had just arrived for his shift. When they searched Watkins they found what appeared to be a homemade knife, a blue box cutter, a roll of pennies, loose change, two lighters, two one dollar bills, and a bottle of women’s body spray.
