Hot 107.9 will stop the music today from 7pm to 9pm to present “Bullying is Not Hot


In the wake of terrible teen-on-teen violence that has shaken the Atlanta community, Hot 107.9
is tuening off the music and holding a forum on bullying and teen
violence.  From 7pm -9pm the radio station wil stop playing music and
will engage its audience in a conversation that is aimed at saving
lives.

This effort to raise awareness on bullying will feature a panel of
guests including; Atlanta Police Officer James Polite, local school
guidance counselors, Monique Rivarde (mother of 18 yr old Bobby Tillman
who was recently bullied to death) and several students who have been
bullied by their peers.   Additionally national recording artists and
celebrities including Neyo, Queen Latifah, Jazmine Sullivan, Jamie Foxx,
Ray J and Diddy will all have a special message on the topic in hopes
that students will understand the seriousness of this issue.
