The victim, identified by family as 6-year-old Eron Burks, reportedly died of a gunshot wound after being left alone in a car by his aunt Kenya Brevard, 38, on Wednesday in Little Rock, Arkansas.
A 38-year-old woman has been arrested and charged with manslaughter in the accidental shooting death of her 6-year-old nephew.
The fatal accident happened Wednesday afternoon when Kenya Brevard’s nephew, identified by family as Eron Burks, reportedly asked to be left alone in the car while his aunt and a 13-year-old girl went into a residence on Lamar Street in Little Rock, Arkansas.
When Brevard returned to the car a few minutes later, she found Eron lying down in the backseat, suffering a serious gunshot wound to his face.
