Bad news for Chris Brown on the legal front. The judge in the case against him for assaulting Rihanna has revoked the singer’s probation because of the assault charges filed in Washington, D.C. Brown was hit with a misdemeanor assault charge back in October over a fight outside a hotel in D.C.
The judge felt the fresh assault charge was evidence that Brown did not obey all laws — a requirement of his probation.
However, the judge decided against having the singer taken into custody, as he was impressed by Breezy’s progress in his anger management rehab. He’ll be holding a hearing in February, and it’s still possible Brown may spend some time behind bars.
Brown has also been ordered to abstain from using medical marijuana.
