AZ – Authorities are investigating a shooting that reportedly involves five victims in a residential neighborhood.
Police say the victims are four adults and a 2-year-old child.
Air15 video from the scene near Cooper and Warner roads in Gilbert shows a portion of the street in the 500 block of West Tumbleweed Road blocked off by police crime tape.
Nearby Mesquite Junior High School and Gilbert Elementary School were placed on lockdown for a short time but that has been lifted, according to a district officials.
The shooting happened some time after 1 p.m.
Initial reports indicate the gunman may be among the dead.
No other details were immediately available.
