50 Cent & Fat Joe Put Beef Aside, Attend Lighty’s Funeral

A funeral is no place for confrontation, and both 50 Cent and Fat Joe were man enough to respect this code of honor while attending Chris Lighty’s funeral in Manhattan on September 5th. They each have been personally influenced by Lighty in the past, as he helped to mold and boost both of their careers, so it was only right that they both paid their respects. Fat Joe even laid down a verse in honor of Lighty on the remix to Slaughterhouse’s “Goodbye” single earlier this week.

50 and Joe weren’t the only celebrity figures who attended Lighty’s funeral. Many other stars came to pay their respects as well, including Diddy, Rev. Run, Wyclef Jean, Missy Elliot, Ed Lover, Michael Bivens, Mary J. Blige, Lauryn Hill, Nick Cannon, and more.
