4Chan delivers Internet Justice

Walter-Easley-Kicking-a-Kitten
I was once told that Internet + Anonymity = Everyone gets to be an asshole. But, every once and a while someone gets cocky and posts something somewhere bragging about something they did that hurt someone or something else, thinking they are safe behind their monitor and keyboard. Every once and a the internet reminds them that they are not. Someone somewhere can get your information and will care enough to bring justice down upon you.

guykickingcat6 seconds. That is all it took to condemn Walter Easley in the eyes of 4chan. He posted a Vine of his kicking his cat off his porch (Here –>). It quickly went viral for all the wrong reasons which meant that it found its way onto Reddit and 4chan. Once he realized how ill received his vine had become he quickly removed the video. Then when the angry comments started flowing he made his twitter private, but it was too late. 4chan sprung into action, found his address and phone number then alterted PETA. Walt was arrested for animal cruelty and is awaiting his day in court.

For all the messed up things that people do, it is stories like this that redeem some faith in humanity. People do still care and will come together for the greater good to help out a person in need, or in this case an animal in need.
