During a recent raid on a Bronx daycare, cops found a kilo of cocaine, Oxycodone pills, and thousands of dollars in cash. The coke was stashed in a a lunchbag in a mini-fridge.
Police raided the Fun World Childcare on Wednesday, and found the cash, coke, and more than 1,000 Oxycodone pills, the “New York Daily News” reports.
About 300 grams of the cocaine were found packed in an insulated blue lunch bag “that could be carried by a child,” a law enforcement source said.
A married couple, Gregorio Hanley and Johanna Vasquez, who run the center and live on the same floor with their two sons, were arrested on drug and weapons possession charges, officials report.
Police report they found $20,000 in a kitchen cabinet, $30,000 worth of pills, $50,000 worth of coke and 150 grams of crack. They also discovered $160,000, a money counter and a loaded gun in an apartment across the street that Hanley has keys to.
