Louisiana prides itself in breeding some of the world’s greatest and most original talent in the field of music. Ranging from traditional jazz to zydeco to rhythm and blues, great sounds never escape the ears of those that dwell in the land of the Dirty South. The Heat Magazine recognizes the eclectic creativity in the boot state. One of the latest topics of conversation in all directions whether it be I-10 or I-55 is an artist known as Tucka.
Over the past few years, a brand new voice has arisen in Southwest Louisiana. Known for his Swingout hits, Tucka has been developing a fanbase that appreciates his signature sound. Claiming influences by R& B icons such as R. Kelly and Sam Cooke, the new voice was raised on the sounds of his Southwest Louisiana roots.
He launched his career by performing with Keith Frank and the Soileau Zydeco band. Shortly after, he went on to release his debut single, “Young Man”, which quickly became a regional favorite. Then, the buzz intensified and has led him on a continuous tour around the South and abroad. Due to his engaging sound, he recently released his third album, “Love Rehab 2 The Therapy”, which is now available at most digital stores. The album features Doug E. Fresh.
Becoming a favorite throughout the South, The Heat Magazine wanted our readers to stay in “the know” concerning Tucka and his Swingout movement. For more information, visit his Facebook Page.
