Fourteen year old boy destroys parent’s home when mom takes away his cellphone as discipline 

It’s no secret that teenagers are often attached to their phones, perhaps sometimes in unhealthy ways. Many parents have recognized that taking a teenager’s phone is an effective punishment. It communicates the severity of an action, doesn’t involve any physical discomfort, and removes a privilege.

But when one woman took away her 15-year-old’s phone, he was so upset he took it to the extreme. In retaliation, he destroyed his mother’s entire home.
