Four people were killed and three were injured in a crash on the Buckman Bridge Monday afternoon.
The Florida Highway Patrol says the crash involved two sport utility vehicles and a tractor-trailer.
All southbound lanes of the Buckman Bridge headed toward Mandarin were closed for five hours.
Just before 2 p.m. Monday, a semi-truck crashed into two sport utility vehicles, causing one to catch on fire.
The crash killed four people including two adults and two minors.
The driver of the semi noticed traffic slowing down in front of him, but was unable to stop.
Early investigation shows the semi crashed into the SUV that caught fire.
A second, smaller SUV was also hit in that accident and three people from that vehicle now at hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
An Action News viewer says fifteen to twenty people were running around the scene franticly.
The witness says you could feel heat coming from that car all way from the other side of bridge.
