Avery is one of the youngest Figure Skaters on ice, she’s only 7 years old! 
She has been skating for two years now, which all started at a cousin’s birthday party. That’s right, she went to her cousin’s birthday party at an ice rink and she was just a natural skater when she got on the ice. Ever since then, this is something that she knew that she wanted to do. Keep in mind, Avery had been already doing gymnastics and taking piano lessons, so this is just another talent to add to her resume.
“Ice Skating is a lot more expensive than gymnastics,” says her mom. It includes private instructions twice a week. $42 dollars for a half hour, three-hundred dollars for skates and sixty dollars and up for costumes alone.
The schedule is a bit hectic as well. She wakes up for 6:15 am for practice and also have class on Sundays.
Avery overall goal in the Ice Skating industry is to have fun. Her mom states that whenever she is ready to quit, she can. There is no pressure and mom is not pushy by far.
Avery has been in competitions and is actually preparing for an upcoming competition. So lets keep our fingers crossed for this ball of cuteness!
