New Orleans, Louisiana has some of the most amazing talent on Planet Earth. And the city keeps secrets. Unlike Las Vegas, where everything kind of stays there, New Orleans often times unleashes those secrets on the world – and so it is with the entertainer who goes by the name of Roca B.

Whether it’s a performance with super dope trumpeter Shamarr Allen, or the call and chant expert Big Choo, or even some of mainstream music’s brightest stars, Roca B is putting in work and gaining a huge amount of recognition for just that.

We caught up with Roca B and here’s what he had to say:

Tell us about yourself – who is Roca B and what makes you tick?

ROCA B: I am the soul of R&B and music is my life. Listening to great music of any kind gets me moving.

New Orleans ia a talent mecca. How does being from there influence your style and art? What does it do for your grind and hustle?

ROCA B: Coming from the Birthplace of Jazz, that automatically influenced me because the music is everywhere. As a child I would walk in the French Quarters just to hear the music and see people dancing and moving to the sounds.

What sets you apart from other artists?

ROCA B: I have the uncanny ability to sound like any artist. I also can sing over any beat in at almost any speed.

Who all have you worked with?

ROCA B: I have worked with artists such as Kidd Kidd, Curren$y, Mr. Marcelo, Calliope Var, Bigg Choo, UTP Skip, Kourtney Heart, Joker, P-Town Moe – the list goes on.

Where can we expect to see your career in 5 years?

ROCA B: You can expect my career to be at the top of the musical charts.

Do you have hopes of getting into any other avenue(s) of entertainment?

ROCA B: Yes, I have always been into acting. I’ve been taking acting classes since seventh grade. Acting and music is where my heart is.

What will we be seeing in the future that will make us say, “Roca B” is so unique?

ROCA B: My unique way of singing will have goosebumps going up your arms. My tone will have you in tears.
