The Amazing Kendall Lake

Bubbly, beautiful, full of life and personality – these are words that describe the amazing Kendall Lake.

A model, actress, singer, and You Tube sensation, Kendall Lake is destined to become a household name as far as entertainment goes.

Kendall is not only beautiful, but she is intelligent and outgoing – two qualities that will take her far in the entertainment industry.

The Heat enjoyed our interview with Kendall Lake. She’s a refreshing soul to speak with – almost like having a conversation with a friend. By her own admission, she is shorter than most models and she comes complete with fancy artwork in the form of intricate tattoos, but we believe this is what will set her apart from other female models. We just know it is only a matter of time before the entire world discovers Kendall Lake.

We were fortunate to catch up with Kendall Lake and she took a few minutes out of her busy schedule to speak with us. Here’s what she had to say:

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: Tell us about your time on True Blood. It’s a very hot show and to have worked on the show must have been exciting for you.

KENDALL LAKE: My time on True Blood was really, really fun. I am the vampire dancer in Fangtasia. Hopefully for next season, which is starting filming soon, they’ll be back in there. I was technically a co-star, even though I didn’t have any lines, I have my own trailer. Everybody I worked with was very nice. I didn’t wear fangs because technically vampires don’t have their fangs out unless they’re eating or they’re angry.

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: What other work have you done? We understand you’ve done some modeling and you’re a singer.

KENDALL LAKE: I modeled for about a year and a half to two years. I was featured on Maxim.com. I’m in INK magazine. I was the first African-American to be featured in that magazine. I had a back cover and about a six page spread and a calendar in that specific magazine. I was also in Tattoo magazine. They do an annual issue and the best articles from throughout the year. So in each one of those magazines, I made it into the best issue also. I also shot for ALT Exclusive which is from the owner of Show Magazine. I did a couple of music videos and as far as modeling, I’m short – only 5 feet tall – and I have tattoos. I’m Ethiopian and German, so it’s like my genre for modeling is kind of small. It’s kind of hard for me to get work. All of the work I did get, I got myself. I didn’t have an agent or manager or anything. I would just contact editors and people myself to see if I could get into things. My passion is singing and I have a single that was going to play on iTunes, but I had a disagreement with the producers so I no longer want to be associated with them. I’m recording now and trying to get music out.

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: What can we expect to see from you in the next few years?

KENDALL LAKE: Hopefully, a couple of albums will be out. I’m shooting a movie right now for Maxim and Patriot Pictures. The movie is from Runaway Bride to The Matrix to Underworld. That should be coming out either this Halloween or next Halloween. It’s a horror movie. It’s like I’m just rolling with the punches as far as the acting goes, just doing things that come to me. Singing is my passion, so I just want to perform, tour, travel, and do my music, so hopefully, that’s while I’m be doing. I also recently hosted a red carpet event for X-Games and a company called Skull Candy.

EDITOR’S NOTE: The world will be seeing much more of Kendall Lake in the near future. She is a kind soul who is multi-talented and we know she will leave her mark on the entertainment world. You can follow Kendall Lake on Twitter – @Kendallake.
