Webbie Goes In On Terrence J and Rocsi Again (Audio)

Wednesday, October 26th, 2011

Webbie fired major shots over the weekend aimed at 106 & Park host Terrence J, after being banned from BET. Webbie threatened to physically assault Terrence when he catches up to him.

Monday (October 25) the Louisiana rapper called into Chicago’s Tony Sculfield and the Morning Riot Show to clarify his stance.

“It aint nothing against me and BET. I love BET, I’ve been watching BET all my life. I am BET… BET is black entertainment,” Webbie said. “That was some personal stuff. You know Rocsi and Terrence, that’s his old lady. Y’all go look at that Vibe magazine picture. That’s what happened.”

According to Webbie, he and Rocsi go way back

Webbie Banned From 106 & Park

Sunday, October 16th, 2011

You probably remember the red carpet fiasco earlier this month, when Webbie boasted to a female BET reporter Boss Lady that he has rather large manparts. Seems he’s been up to devilment again, perhaps with yet another female from BET.

This past Friday, Webbie appeared on 106 & Park as a judge for its Freestyle Fridays competition. When they cut to commercial, he was still there – when they returned from commercial, Terrance announced that Webbie was banned from the show.

Nobody is certain of what happened, but ThisIs50.com is reporting that he may have told Rocsi something inappropriate during the break.

Let us just say, the majority of Louisiana – and all rappers as a whole – are respectable and do not condone such activity. We’re not sure what happened here, but we certainly hope Webbie straightens up and flies right.

Webbie

The Associated Press is reporting this morning that Louisiana rapper Webster “Webbie” Gradney, Jr. was arrested by the Tennessee Highway Patrol and charged with drug possession and tampering with evidence.

A rental vehicle Webbie was reportedly riding in was pulled over south of Nashville after leaving a performance in Kentucky.  Authorities say the 25-year-old rapper from Baton Rouge was found with $13,000 and 2 ounces of marijuana. Troopers also claim he threw marijuana out the car window.

The rental car’s driver was charged with driving with a suspended license and another passenger faces a gun charge.
