Watch ESPN’s Skip Bayless Have Absolute Meltdown Over Losing Mayweather-Pacquiao Bet

Monday, May 4th, 2015

Having lost his bet over the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao fight, Skip Bayless was forced to wear The Money Team hat and T-shirt on ESPN’s ‘First Take’ on Monday morning. What ensued was a complete, utter meltdown on live television.

After losing his bet with ESPN First Take co-host Stephen A. Smith, over the Floyd Mayweather Jr.-Manny Pacquiao fight Saturday night, Skip Bayless was forced to don The Money Team hat and T-shirt live on the show Monday morning.

After stomaching Stephen A.’s trash talk for several minutes, Bayless absolutely exploded in one of the best meltdowns you’ll ever see on live television.

“You’ve said enough … because I’ve heard enough! I have worn this garbage long enough. This is it! Done with you!” a seething, red-hot Bayless stood up by the First Take desk yelling, before removing and throwing The Money Team hat off the show’s set.

“I’ve worn this garbage long enough!” Bayless screamed, removing the T-shirt and chucking it at First Take cameras as well.

“You’re not going to honor the bet?” a miffed Stephen A. asked.

Boy Found Living Inside Texas Walmart For Four Days

Tuesday, August 19th, 2014

Employees at a Texas Walmart made a startling discovery. A teenage boy was apparently living inside the store for several days.

The 14-year-old wasn’t just hiding, he built two secret compounds inside the store, keeping himself out of sight for four days!

One of his living spots was in the baby product aisle behind boxes of strollers, while the other was behind stacks of paper towels and toilet paper.

The boy even went as far as using the diapers instead of the store restroom to avoid being detected.

Customers at the store never noticed the boy until a trail of trash led employees to him.

Police released the boy to the custody of his relatives. Child Protective Services says the boy was visting other family members when he disappeared.

Will & Jada Pinkett Smith Under Investigation by Child Services

Thursday, May 22nd, 2014

While Will & Jada Pinkett Smith are admittedly unorthodox parents, their unconventional methods are now being called into question by no other than the LA Department of Children & Family Services. Allegedly, the department is investigating the Hollywood couple regarding them allowing their 13-year-old daughter Willow to pose in bed with a 20-year-old shirtless actor.

According to Radar Online, the investigation was opened last week, and while The Smiths aren’t pleased with their parenting skills being called into question, the couple is cooperating. A source also revealed to the site that officials will be speaking to Willow separately, as well as questioning the actor seen shirtless with her in the photo.

Jada has publicly addressed the drama behind the photo, saying there was nothing wrong with the snapshot:

“There was nothing sexual about that picture or that situation. You guys are projecting your trash onto it. You’re acting like covert pedophiles and that’s not cool.”

Should Will & Jada’s parenting skills be called into question? Sound off below.

INTERVIEW: Ryan Culver – Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale (PART 1)

Monday, December 31st, 2012

Ryan Culver

PART 2 >>>

If you have been to the movies in the past few months you have undoubtedly seen the trailer for Playstation All-Star Battle Royale. The star of that trailer is none other than Nathan Drake of the Uncharted Series, but who is the actor behind the character? His name is Ryan Culver. His name might not ring any bells but if the quality of his work has anything to say about it; that will be changing in the future. I got the chance to pick Ryan’s brain about his roles, career and so much more. Check it out below.Ryan Culver, red shirt low res

JAMES ARLEDGE: First of all can we talk a bit about your background? How did you get started as an actor?

RYAN CULVER: Actually I started out on stage at 11.   I really like that medium, but the amount of collaboration in filmmaking is really incredible and I have been drawn to that for some time.  I started TV, commercial, and small film work around 2000-2001, and I’m now in Los Angeles doing that, among other things.

JA: How do you get ready for a role or get pumped up before going on set? Does this differ from genre to genre?

RC: Well getting ready is always a matter of doing your homework on the character and their situation.  Each role and each genre is different.  I’ve got a weird thing about the shoes of a character.  To me, shoes (or the lack of them) really affects the way you walk, from running shoes, to sandals, to dress shoes.  I tend to carry myself a little differently in each pair, I feel different in each pair, and for me, what a character (and I) wear really helps me to climb into that world.

Getting “pumped” before a scene does change for me based on genre or particular intention in that scene.  I’m not overly “method,” but I will try to put myself into whatever feeling the character would be in prior to stepping onto the set.  Sometimes that means you isolate yourself, go for a run, yell, laugh, eat a lot, don’t eat at all, etc.  For the action stuff, it’s all high energy, so that means staying loose, stretching, keeping a lot of energy in your breathing, so you start the scene as if you’ve been there, in it for a while.  It’s also important to take it easy between takes, to make sure all your energy is going to the work on camera.  All of that becomes even more important when you’re shooting over long nights, like we did on the PlayStation shoot.

I dig those experiences though.  I feel that the more authentic my experience is, the more that will come across on screen.
JA: What real life experiences have you had that you feel has prepared you for your role as Nathan Drake?

RC: Oh, I’ve been bouncing around the world, having crazy adventures for many years.  I’ve been an action- sport athlete for most of my life, skydiving, BASE jumping, rock climbing, scuba diving, etc.  I’m also a pilot and I own a company that moves small aircraft around the world, so when I’m not on set, I am usually flying planes to remote spots all over the world, landing in crazy places and getting to meet a lot of interesting people.
It’s hard for me to get tied down, and I’m a bit of a thrill-seeker, so you’ll usually find me off in some part of the world getting into some sort of trouble (haha).

JA: What’s it like to adapt and become a character that people already know as opposed to creating an entirely new character?

RC: Man, when I realized how big a deal Drake was to the fans around the world, I was a bit intimidated to start the process of working on him.  I’ve said before that the most important thing to me is “getting it right” for the fans, and I put a lot of pressure on myself when I started, to try and really bring that guy you see in the game to real life on screen.

For something like this, there is already such an awesome groundwork for you to pull from.  Nathan Drake is such a richly complex character and the storyline is amazingly detailed.  While it offers a lot, it can also make it harder, because it may make you feel constricted by what’s already out there and known about Drake.  For me, what’s “out there” is so cool and full of life, that I could inhabit his world without feeling stuck.

I have friends and family who are big gamers, and after I was cast, I underwent an intense study process to learn about Drake and immerse myself into his world.  I spent many hours watching the online “movies” of the three games, and questioned all the gamers I knew, to get their advice on how to approach the character.

What are your thoughts on Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale? What character is your favorite? Which characters would you like to see on the roster? And finally, please discuss what you thought of Ryan’s answers and performance in the commercial in the comments below.

Special thanks to Ryan Culver for answering all my questions.

Baby Girl X Meets Her Mother 41 Years After She Threw Her Into Pile Of Burning Trash Minutes After She Was Born

Monday, September 17th, 2012

A woman whose mother threw her in a pile of burning trash minutes after she was born has finally come face-to-face with the woman who nearly ended her life.

Amy Woodward-Davis, who is now 41 years old and a mother herself, survived horrific third and fourth-degree burns that covered 70 per cent of her body.

She was born to a 16-year-old mother who didn’t know she was pregnant until she gave birth to Amy in the bathroom of her Kansas City home.

Body parts found in auctioned Florida storage unit

Thursday, August 30th, 2012

(CNN) — For $900, the winning bid at a Pensacola storage auction got the contents of Unit B12 — and a police investigation.

Police say body parts belonging to more than 100 people were found stored in formaldehyde inside the unit, in plastic containers, specimen cups, trash bags and even a 32-ounce Styrofoam cup from a convenience store. Some of the containers had cracked and leaked, police said.

The discovery was reported to police Friday after the purchaser of the unit began going through the items, said George Klages, manager of Uncle Bob’s Storage.

Investigators know the unit was rented by Michael Berkland, a former associate medical examiner, but they’re now trying to figure out if a crime was committed, said Capt. David Alexander of the Pensacola Police Department.

He said authorities have made some attempts to reach Berkland, who worked for the Medical Examiner’s Office between 1997 and May 2003, when he was fired for failing to complete autopsy reports in a timely manner.

Berkland, who is no longer licensed in Florida, was also at one point a private pathologist, Alexander said. Families would sometimes contact him for second opinions about autopsy decisions that had been rendered, he said.

Police said Klages told them Berkland rented the unit from April 8, 2009, until it was auctioned August 22. He said Berkland was late on rental payments several times during the lease but usually paid right before the unit contents were to be auctioned.

The storage unit also contained office furniture and other property.

Police say the remains are believed to be from autopsies Berkland did between 1997 and 2007 at funeral homes in Pensacola, Tallahassee, Fort Walton Beach and Panama City. Some of the containers had labels with names and autopsy dates but others did not.

50 Cent Weighs In On Kanye Calling Kim K “Perfect”

Friday, August 10th, 2012

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have become far more serious than many people thought they would at the beginning of their relationship. He has gone on to record two songs about her, “Way Too Cold”, and his most recent one “Perfect B*tch”. Kanye confirmed recently on Twitter that the song is about Kim.

50 Cent was asked about his opinion on Kanye considering Kim to be “perfect” and whether or not 50 believes there is such a thing as a “perfect” woman in this world, during a recent interview with XXL Mag. 50 was respectful in his answer when he stated:

“I mean…if that man feel like she perfect, then she’s perfect. He could mean it and you’ll end up singing the words to it because he’s Kanye. You know how it is? One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. “[Is there a perfect chick?] I’m not sure. The smartest guys I know have lost being a bad judge of character in that area.”

Repairman Finds $250,000 Gold Stash In AC Unitand Returns It To Owners

Tuesday, July 10th, 2012

A repairman who was fixing an air conditioning unit got more than what he bargained for when he came across a secret stash of gold.

When the Sacramento man opened the malfunctioning unit, he expected to find nothing more than an electrical problem or a clump of dust.

But, instead, the man discovered $250,000 worth of gold.

Similarly, two weeks ago, a couple from Tennessee found $13,000 in a bag on top of a trash can and handed it into police.

Louisiana Man Accused Of Robbing The Church

Saturday, June 23rd, 2012

A Shreveport man is behind bars this afternoon after a patrol officer spotted him walking in the Highland neighborhood pushing a dolly loaded with merchandise believed to have been stolen from a local church.

Shreveport Police Officer Melvin Smith observed 35-year-old Tommy J. Neal near the intersection of College Street and Centenary Boulevard pushing a two-wheeled dolly with a trash can on it covered by a white sheet.

Smith stopped Neal and, upon further investigation, discovered musical equipment stolen from the Noel Methodist Church in the 500 block of Herndon Street hidden under the sheet. Neal was immediately taken into custody without incident.

Detectives responded to the scene and ultimately located other items stolen from the church concealed in a vacant house in the 1600 block of Highland Avenue. The items included kitchen utensils, books, food, and ice chests. The church has been the victim of at least one theft and one burglary since June 1 and investigators believe those crimes have been solved with the arrest of Neal.

Neal, who reportedly has no home address, was booked into the Shreveport City Jail on one count of simple burglary of a religious building and one count of illegal possession of stolen things. Authorities will be working to determine if he is responsible for other similar crimes in the area.
