Ryan O’Neal sexually assaulted me while my husband Marvin Gaye watched

Tuesday, April 28th, 2015

Jan Gaye writes in an autobiography to be published next month that Ryan O’Neal rubbed himself on the back of her head with his groin during a lunch at a restaurant in Hollywood. He denies it.

Hollywood star Ryan O’Neal has been accused of sexually harassing the wife of Marvin Gaye at a restaurant as the soul singer watched.

Jan Gaye claimed the star, famous for his role in the Oscar winning movie Love Story, approached her and the singer at a Beverly Hills lunch and ‘made his move with great subtlety.’

He stood behind her and rubbed his penis against the back of her head through his clothes – while speaking to Gaye.

Jan, 59, reveals the encounter in an explosive autobiography ‘After the Dance. My Life with Marvin Gaye’, which is published next month.

The second wife of the Motown icon sang backing vocals on the song ‘Got to give it Up’ which was at the center of last month’s $7.4 award against Pharrell Williams and Robin Thicke who were found to have copied parts of the song.

Mother Left With Horrific Leg Burns After Spilling Boiling Cup Of McDonald’s Tea That She Claims Did Not Have The Lid Fitted On

A McDonald’s customer suffered horrific burns after spilling a cup of tea that she claims the lid had not been fitted properly on.

Joanna Audoire says as she sat down in her car with a tray containing the tea, the beverage toppled over covering her leg in boiling water.

The 44-year-old mother-of-three is now considering suing the fast food restaurant after medics told her she would be scarred for life.
Ms Audoire picked up a breakfast, a cup of tea, and a Coke from McDonald’s to enjoy in her car after a shopping trip with a friend.

She claimed that as she sat down the cup with the poorly fitted lid pitched over.

When she removed her trousers she claims the skin on her left thigh peeled off too, leaving her with a huge bubbling L-shaped burn the size of her hand.

The telemarketing worker was off work for more than a week because she couldn’t walk properly due to the pain.

Ms Audoire, from Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, said: ‘I am seriously considering legal action for the time I have had to take off work and for the injury and trauma I have suffered.

‘I was in immense pain. They need to take some responsibility for serving the tea as hot as that with a flimsy lid.

‘When will they improve it? When a child is seriously burnt? It makes me cross.

‘The lid couldn’t have been on properly, and I know tea is hot, but was it too hot on this occasion? I think it was. It was very very painful. It shouldn’t have happened.’

$100k found in bag at Burger King; mystery remains a whopper

It’s a whopper of a mystery.

A Burger King worker found a backpack filled with nearly $100,000 in cash at a table inside the restaurant.

The assistant manager was the first one to spot the blue backpack, abandoned in a booth at the Burger King in San Jose, Calif. The store’s owner says he had to call the police.

“I twice cleaned, like two or three times cleaned the tables and it’s still here,” said Sahista Bakawla, assistant manager of the Burger King. “I waited until 3 p.m. and nobody came here.”

She took it to the back and called the owner. He opened it, hoping to find some ID or a phone number.

“I open the zipper, I see lots of money, cash money, $100 bills stack up like half the bag, money,” said Burger King Owner Altaf Chaus. “I said, ‘Wow! Today’s my birthday, this is my birthday gift.’”

It was a fleeting thought. He immediately called police.

“I’ve been in this country 26 years and I worked two jobs for 15 years before I bought this Burger King,” Chaus said. “So I’m a very hard working man. I don’t want that money, maybe it belongs to somebody.”

Officers came to the restaurant and opened the bag. Along with the money, they found candy, a little bit of marijuana and a bank deposit slip.

Police are now working with the bank to find the bag’s owner.

A customer was shocked about the money and so moved by the story, she stopped in to thank the assistant manager for her honesty.

“I would have done the same thing, but to know that someone else did it, really makes me feel good,” the customer said.

These Two Men Spent 39 Years In Jail And Were Sentenced To Death For A Crime They Did Not Commit

On May 19, 1975, Ricky Jackson was a 20-year-old ex-Marine who had recently received an honorable discharge for health reasons. His 17-year-old friend Ronnie Bridgeman worked at a restaurant while he trained to be a welder at a nearby trade school. The two spent that day playing pick-up basketball at a local playground and then a game of chess at the Bridgeman home while Ronnie’s brother Wiley was washing his car outside. Meanwhile, in another part of their home town, a white businessman was killed by unknown assailants.

Less than a week later, all three were under arrest for a murder that they did not commit. Ronnie was finally paroled in 2003. Ricky Jackson and Wiley Bridgeman, by contrast, were just released from prison on Friday. It took 39 years for the state of Ohio to discover that it had locked up three men for a crime they did not commit.

Ricky and Wiley most likely owe their freedom to a 2011 article published by the Cleveland Scene which laid out the weakness of the case against them. The men were convicted based on the testimony of a 13-year-old boy with poor eyesight and conflicting stories. The boy, now a grown man, later filed an affidavit admitting that he never saw the murder. He also claims that he was threatened by police into identifying Jackson as one of the murderers.

“The detective said that I was too young to go to jail,” the witness said, “but he would arrest my parents for perjury because I was backing out. My mom was sick at that time, and that really scared me. I didn’t want my parents to get in trouble over this.”
The three innocent men were originally sentenced to death. Their lives were saved by a 1978 Supreme Court decision striking down an Ohio law making the death penalty mandatory in many murder cases.

Chili’s Restaurant Cook Fired For Taking Shirtless Kitchen Selfies And Posting Them On Facebook

A Chili’s line cook in Florida was fired this week after photos emerged of him taking shirtless photos in a restaurant, and no, we didn’t make this story up by pulling “Dumb American Stereotypes” out of a hat.

The photos went viral after Justin Speekz (actually his real name) decided to put them on Facebook, in which he poses next to a grill and lying down on a food prep surface, in an album called “Sexy Cooks of Chili’s”.

“Chili’s clearly does not encourage this type of behavior in our restaurants. We maintain very high standards of food quality, safety and cleanliness and took immediate steps to ensure the restaurant continues to follow these requirements,” Chili’s said in a statement to ABC Action News.

While Florida’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation told ABC that his actions did not violate any laws, and that the Chili’s in question ended up passing a restaurant inspection, Speekz’s shirtlessness clearly unnerved Floridians, because THAT’S HOW YOU SPREAD EBOLA.

Floyd Mayweather and T.I. Fight Inside Las Vegas Fatburger

According to TMZ the head of the Hustle Gang, T.I., got into a chair flying, bows throwing, lyrical profanity (I’m sure) slinging, knock out, drag out fight with the head of the Money Team, “pound-for-pound champion”, and Justin Beiber’s bestie, Floyd Mayweather, at a popular restaurant in Las Vegas late Saturday night, early Sunday morning.

According to several eyewitnesses at the scene, Floyd Mayweather was eating at the popular Las Vegas eatery, Fat Burger, when T.I. walked up to the champ and began verbally assaulting Mayweather and even took a swing at the champ before security teams could come to defuse the two 5’8″ heavyweights.

Allegedly the root of the altercation was Tip’s wife, Tiny.

Hip Hop Wired reported, earlier in the night, Tiny had been hanging out with the Money Team, sharing a pic of herself and Mayweather’s daughter on Instagram, and later on that evening, according to Twitter user @ItsTheBauce, rapper Young Dro “pressed” Mayweather about hanging out with Tiny, while Tip was hosting a party at a nearby club, Prive.

Red Lobster Restaurants To Close

Tuesday, December 24th, 2013

R.I.P. Red Lobster. The seafood restaurant chain is reportedly closing up shop.

Darden Restaurants announced Thursday (Dec. 19) that Red Lobster locations will be shutting down for “a tax-free spin-off” or possibly be sell it off completely. One thing is for sure, though: no more Red Lobster.

Apparently, investors and analysts have pressured Darden about its future and how it planned to bring back consumers after the recession. Though it’s one of the biggest companies in the casual dining industry, with a market value of $6.7 billion, its core chains — Red Lobster being its first — have had stagnant growth.

Red Lobster has 705 restaurants in the U.S. and Canada, and had annual sales of about $2.6 billion in the company’s 2013 fiscal year.

It’s unclear when the locations would begin closing at press time.

In addition to Red Lobster’s closure, Darden also plans to halt expansion at its core Olive Garden chain, and slowing down opening new locations for LongHorn Steakhouse.

Because Darden isn’t doing so good. It seems that consumers are turning their noses up at hoity-toity sit-down places like Red Lobster and Olive Garden these days in favor of cheaper chains like Chipotle.
