[NEW MUSIC] Da Foundation – “AMMO” ft Future | @Da_Foundation

Thursday, October 4th, 2018

Emerging Hip Hop Duo, Da Foundation just landed their first major feature with Multi-Platinum Recording Artist, Future. The new release, “Ammo” is raising many questions about the collaboration.

Da Foundation is a hip-hop/rap duo comprised of brothers – Mustaiin (“Mu Smoova”) and Malcolm (“Mile Casso”) Lawrence that formed in summer 2009. Mu considers himself a thinker, the quiet one with an uncanny militant streak that demands attention. Casso, on the other hand, is dynamic, active, and always ready for a challenge. But make no mistake – Casso is an amiable and approachable guy. The pair’s personalities complement each other brilliantly, creating a powerful energy that propels them toward success.

Smoova and Casso were drawn to the art of hip-hop, an enticing tableau of music, hustle, and freedom from debts and poverty. In a matter of months, and with the collaboration of various booking agencies, Da Foundation went from performing on open mic nights to winning showcases to headlining their shows. “We grind from a state of poverty, so we give you our all. The people should know we took no shorts and never considered ourselves too big for any opportunity,” says the duo. The release of “Alleyway to Broadway” encapsulated the hustle and hype that defines their musical journey They moved up the hip-hop charts with their award-winning single from the project, impacting radio with worldwide airplay and earning a spot on the Top 50 Independent Artists in the U.S.

In 2016, Da Foundation released the EP entitled “MoneyNevaSleeps” following the release with a self-funded promo tour of the same name. Despite their rapid rise in the music industry, the brothers remember that nothing came easy for them.

Dedication, faith, strength, and talent have formed the rungs of the ladder to success. But one thing is clear: Da Foundation doesn’t care about the fame. They want to spread their inspiration. Lastly, Da Foundation seems not to show any signs of slowing down, “This is just one of many to come.”

[NEW MUSIC] J-MANE – “PROOF” FT J-HOOD | @JMane_HT

Tuesday, October 2nd, 2018
Hip-Hop Artist, J-Mane overcomes the adversities of “The Struggle”

J-Mane has seen many struggles throughout his life and desires change. Phillip Jermane Allen – also known as J-Mane, is an up and coming hip-hop artist out the underbelly of small rural West Virginia. Allen was born February 4th, 1988 in White Sulphur Spring to parents, Penny Allen and Jay Jones.

The term “music is the entry to the soul” sits with the young J-Mane. It wasn’t always his passion to still make music. When he was younger, he had another passion that he wanted to carry him to the road of success, football. He had dreams of making it pro and coming out of the struggle. The struggles became more of a reality when he got older.

In 2007, Allen’s world changed completely. His mother, Penny Allen, got sick and lost her fight. Young Allen is merely just coming out of high school at the age of 18, and he didn’t know what to think. Sadness, anger, many emotions were running through his head. During his emotional rollercoaster, he gained a DUI charge, and this was when his mindset changed his whole perspective. Phillip turned to football and envisioned success as his way to make his momma proud. In 2015, his dreams fulfilled when he went to the west coast and signed with an AFL (Arena Football League) team. Shortly after signing with the team- his nightmare began. The interim coach lost his position, and his contract voided. Back on the struggle, J-Mane tried to think of ways to cope. Music became the answer. He was able to speak his story and help inspire others. His path appears to be finally set.

J-MANE

What’s next for J-Mane?

J-Mane, with inspirations from the death of his mother, family, friends, and the overall struggle of life, began his journey into the hip-hop scene. His story speaks for itself with hard times, conflict and poverty. His vision is evident. He aims to reach new heights and change the world with his music. His most recent single, “Proof,” featuring ex D-Block member J-Hood is the prime example of struggle in his life. The record speaks on his story of hardships. The truth that J-Mane speaks is something that everyone can identify. J-Mane is here to stay and is the next face of the hip-hop community.

[NEW MUSIC]DA GH0UL -“WHERE I BE” | @IAMDAGH0UL

Monday, August 20th, 2018

The Hip-Hop Monster, Da Gh0ul releases his debut single, “Where I Be”

Hip-hop has awoken a monster with a signature sound called ‘Enlightened Trap.’ The on-the-verge rapper, Da GhOul, has taken up the challenge in bringing light to this new genre with his new trap anthem “Where I Be.”

Da Gh0ul is a highly creative artist -who had always had a knack for music. Since the age of 8, Ghoul started writing raps. On “Where I Be,” Da Gh0ul uses a high powered, uptempo piano key beat mixed with a soft “X-Files” type melody to give a warning to haters, the feds, and anybody else who can’t see him. The song details his drive, grind, and hustle for achieving greatness amidst the ops; who may not know his acts or “whereabouts” (thus the title). But. he is at a greater place far from those, who are not about their business and the positive growth of “Self.”

Da Gh0ul realized at the early age of 8; he had a liking for creating music. Him and his younger sister Patricia Berry, a.k.a. Phoenyxx Flame began recording over instrumentals using a PS2 and a broken stereo with a working mic onto tapes. At the age of 13, Da Gh0ul started working with his beats at Fl Studio and found out rhythms drove him more to music. In 2007, the teenage rapper “Decata Boi” started working with an underground artist “Angry Dank” who taught him a few basics about recording. Relying on other artists/producers for studio time and promotion wasn’t entirely advancing his music career. With in-depth consideration, at the age 16, he invested into creating his recording studio.

He ‘s a contender that has next

In 2012, Da Ghoul released his first ever mixtape “The Juggernaut” on DatPiff.com with the help of a SCAD student and their Mac. Shortly after, he released his second mixtape,  #UA which was heavily promoted on Instagram. Also, he has collaborated with idols such as DJ Smalls, DJ Fresh (Rich Homie Quan DJ), and ” OJ Da Juiceman.”

Over time, Da Gh0ul has improved his sound and overall characteristics of one of the most unique/international hip-hop artist that the industry has seen in a while. His slick punchlines and lyrical flexibility mixed with a melodic Crunk tune are just a few words to describe the upcoming Dirty South rap artist. Ghoul is a force to be reckoned with! and Keep your eyes on this artist as a contender in the Hip-hop game.

[VIDEO] WOODY MANE FREESTYLE | @WOODYMANE

Thursday, June 7th, 2018

Texas Rapper, Woody Mane proves to be a Contender in the world of Hip-Hop

David Austin (March 17, 1984) better known by his stage name, Woody Mane is an independent rapper born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, signed to Oneof1 Management Company. Woody Mane will mark his territory with his forthcoming EP titled, “Ghost 2.5.”

Strongly influenced by his surroundings while growing up in the gang-ridden neighborhood of Eastwood in Fort Worth, Woody Mane quickly realized his passion for music early. Woody began using it as an outlet to express things he would see in his day to day environment.

Greatly inspired by musical acts like Tupac, Lil Wayne and Chamillionaire, Mane’s biggest motivation to pursue a music career came following the untimely death of his biggest supporter and eldest brother, Derrick Austin in 2008.

The loss was a pivotal moment for the rising star, as it motivated him to go harder with his pursuit of music and begin performing throughout the DFW metroplex. He quickly amassed a core following, which resulted in him being featured on Texas legend, Lil Keke’s 2014 hit, ‘Subtract Da Top’ off his “Money Don’t Sleep” album. Since then he has gone on to collaborate with other notable Texas rappers such as Tum Tum, Solo Lucci, and Jaio.

In 2015, Mane dropped his highly anticipated debut project, Codeine Fiend, which received a warm reception by fans with popular tracks ‘Regulate’ and ‘Masked Murderer.’ He then followed up its success with the release of his second project, Black Ghost in 2016 which earned him the attention of mega music executive, Debra Antney. Woody Mane’s third project, Ghost dropped April 19, 2017, and is still doing numbers.

WM’s latest compilation, GHOST 2.5 is set to be released soon! Make sure to follow him to stay in tune with updates.

HEAT MAG EXCLUSIVE: The Rebirth of Andy Pellerano | @AndyRebirth

Tuesday, May 1st, 2018

Who is Rebirth?

Rebirth

Photo credit 1 Vision Production @1visionproduction

The “Heat Magazine” sat down with the New Orleans native; Pastor and Christian Hip-Hop artist, Andy “Rebirth” Pellerano to discuss his trials and tribulations, and who he represents as a leader in a nationwide ministry.  In spite of the adversities of life, Rebirth has a phenomenal testimony of the amazing grace, glory, wrath, and miraculous power of God!

Andy’s roots began in the West Bank region of New Orleans which later sprouted all over the metropolitan area from the Westbank to the Eastbank. His parents are of Latin descent- the mother from Honduras and father from Cuba with Sicilian roots.

“Rebirth” is a Husband, and father of 4 with one on the way. His many accolades include a 2x nominee for a Nola Gospel Award, 2018 Nola Gospel Rap Artist Of The Year and “Church In The Streets” Reality show star that airs on WHNO. Also, he is the President of his national ministry called One Accord.

“If I had 300 men who feared nothing but God, hated nothing but sin, and were determined to know nothing among men but Jesus Christ and Him crucified, I would set the world on fire.” ~ John Wesley

Before turning his life over, Andy was a member of The Almighty Latin King Nation. During his teenage years, he experienced the initiation process and his first felony arrest at 13. Eventually, leading to a first-degree attempted murder charge at the age of 17. Andy served eight years and two months in prison. This pattern would continue throughout his life until he submits unto the will of God.

Heat Mag: In today’s times,  Why is it so important for our youth to hear your message?

Rebirth:  My message is vital especially for our youth because they are our future. My aim is to give them music that will inspire and create a positive dialogue that will ultimately point them towards evolution! Music that builds up and not break down! Our youth needs the truth and Jesus Christ is the truth, the way, and the life!!!!! (SonicBoom 🔥💥💨)

Heat Mag:  What do you feel you offer the music industry that we don’t already have?

Rebirth:  I offer Truth – the street life perspective. I give you the way out as well! I give you my pain most importantly_ I give the solution! I really lived the life most rappers glorify – so I give them that- only I tell the entire story!!! I’ll tell you about slanging bricks, about friends that died because of it, the jailtime served, and leaving my kids to grow without a father etc.  Many will give you their pride, I speak about my pride that led to my downfall and how it gives you humility that leads to elevation!

On December 6, 2011, Andy’s son, Alexander Domingo Pellerano was born. This day would be bittersweet; his beautiful baby boy was born with PKD a terminally ill kidney disease. Prison never changed him. However, this did. This was the broken state when he called on the Lord.

Unfortunately, Rebirth caught another charge, and this would now be his third felony. In a ballgame, three strikes, you’re out. However, in the game of life, three times delivered him! The courts wanted to throw him away, yet God had a different plan! He parted the Red Sea of Louisiana’s judicial system and landed him at White Dove Fellowship where he’s finally healed! Andy is no longer blind, and his spiritual eye is wide open.  Miraculously, in April of 2014, Rebirth completed the program and was married the day of his release!

“I prayed while blind to the indulging dark underworld of New Orleans. I hit rock bottom, I had no choice; but to submit.”

Rebirth knew that the devil and his demons used him, committing senseless crimes was the game, along with worldly hip-hop. Now, he is traveling from state to state, sharing his testimony – both through music and spoken word! He owns a variety of culture that’s heard through his music. His distinctive style delivers soul-penetrating hardcore punchlines. His context derives from a streetlife persona in which he refuses to give the devil ground or glory.

Andy “Rebirth” Pellerano is an Apostle to the streets that have spoken throughout this nation. Also, he ministers to juvenile facilities, outreach programs, along with concerts in high crime areas! His anointed mission is the most requested artist outside of the country!

Heat Mag: If you could collaborate with one artist – living – who would it be or why?

Rebirth:  Travis Greene,  His song “Made A Way” is so powerful. I feel so connected, and would like to share my testimony with him! That song is my life, I know came from a raw pure place, so making some music like that with him would be awesome!!!

Heat Mag: Which one of your tracks truly defines you?

Rebirth: Found My Way” from “The Warrior Worship” album which is currently on Itunes, and all digital music platforms. You may also find the visual on YouTube.  I dropped this as a joint project with @IAm_Burke. That joint right there is from me to you! Raw truth-real life-real answers.

Heat Mag: Last, but not least, Heat Magazine wants to know what’s your craziest “Where they do that at?!!!  moment

Rebirth: We went to a secular event in a club to perform a set. We lit it up – in Jesus name _ and left out directly after announcing we would be outside. Immediately the bartender runs after us- in tears – confessing that she was a backsliding Christian and rededicated her life to Christ. Immediately after that, I turn around, only to see some people from my past. I had to apologize to them for some unresolved pain I may have caused. Rappers that gave their lives to Christ were scheduled to perform after us. There were prayer groups going on in the parking lot too.  Suddenly, the next thing you know, the Dj is roiling his equipment out!!! We shut the club down in Jesus name!!! (true story)

Where they do that at???? Wherever Ambassadors Of Jesus Christ Go…….ya heard me!!!

Be on the lookout for the rising Evangelist spreading the message of love in a town near you!

A.O. emerges with a new album “Episode 3:  A Force to Be Reckoned With”| @THEAGENCYHQ

Tuesday, December 19th, 2017

A.O.

After picking up from Episode 1 and 2, A.O. unveils a new album Episode 3:  A Force to Be Reckoned With to be released on December 31st. Throughout his career, the Agency Operative has gone through a series of transformation to reach this point as a hip-hop artist. From writing in a journal to writing rhymes. Quickly, he went from playing trumpet to being a vocalist.

Shortly thereafter, there was a setback in which AO had to take a hiatus. The first album didn’t meet the financial success expected. So, the Agency Operative held back on releasing more projects. The first one could’ve been the last. The reason for creating another project would be – AO does not give up so quickly. Even though “Episode 1” did not reach financial success, the album did give him a better perception of how the music industry works.

A.O.

Another reason for putting out another project is that the graduate of TCNJ in 2009 has not seen much change in the economy. The job market continues to be limited to job opportunities. Not much has changed from the first album in 2011 to the current album in 2015. After graduation, A.O. continues to work temporary jobs with no offers for a permanent position. He decided to take his life in a new direction.

From the beginning, AO went by the stage name, King Kong. The reason for the name change was due to getting legal rights to the name. With that being said, the new name is  “The A.G.E.N.C.Y Operative.” Agency is an acronym (Agent Geared for Emissary to Navigate through Critical Conditions without yielding). Operative means secret agent. The Agency Operative is the secret agent of The Agency Headquarters and the name of the label. In 2010, the label launched, and the first single was “So Hot.”

What’s next?

With seven years into the game, the current status of A.O. is to continue with the mission. The third installment of his discography “Episode 3: A Force to be Reckoned With” will be released. “Episode 3: A Force to be Reckoned With” and will be available on Itunes and Google Play on December 31, 2017. Also, you can pre-order his album before its official launch.

As an agent on a mission, the journey will continue to fulfill the mission statement.  Connect with A.O. to be one of the first to download his latest project.
