The Hip-Hop Monster, Da Gh0ul releases his debut single, “Where I Be”

Hip-hop has awoken a monster with a signature sound called ‘Enlightened Trap.’ The on-the-verge rapper, Da GhOul, has taken up the challenge in bringing light to this new genre with his new trap anthem “Where I Be.”

Da Gh0ul is a highly creative artist -who had always had a knack for music. Since the age of 8, Ghoul started writing raps. On “Where I Be,” Da Gh0ul uses a high powered, uptempo piano key beat mixed with a soft “X-Files” type melody to give a warning to haters, the feds, and anybody else who can’t see him. The song details his drive, grind, and hustle for achieving greatness amidst the ops; who may not know his acts or “whereabouts” (thus the title). But. he is at a greater place far from those, who are not about their business and the positive growth of “Self.”

Da Gh0ul realized at the early age of 8; he had a liking for creating music. Him and his younger sister Patricia Berry, a.k.a. Phoenyxx Flame began recording over instrumentals using a PS2 and a broken stereo with a working mic onto tapes. At the age of 13, Da Gh0ul started working with his beats at Fl Studio and found out rhythms drove him more to music. In 2007, the teenage rapper “Decata Boi” started working with an underground artist “Angry Dank” who taught him a few basics about recording. Relying on other artists/producers for studio time and promotion wasn’t entirely advancing his music career. With in-depth consideration, at the age 16, he invested into creating his recording studio.

He ‘s a contender that has next

In 2012, Da Ghoul released his first ever mixtape “The Juggernaut” on DatPiff.com with the help of a SCAD student and their Mac. Shortly after, he released his second mixtape,  #UA which was heavily promoted on Instagram. Also, he has collaborated with idols such as DJ Smalls, DJ Fresh (Rich Homie Quan DJ), and ” OJ Da Juiceman.”

Over time, Da Gh0ul has improved his sound and overall characteristics of one of the most unique/international hip-hop artist that the industry has seen in a while. His slick punchlines and lyrical flexibility mixed with a melodic Crunk tune are just a few words to describe the upcoming Dirty South rap artist. Ghoul is a force to be reckoned with! and Keep your eyes on this artist as a contender in the Hip-hop game.

Lil Wayne says he feels ‘unwanted’ at OK arena

Saturday, June 2nd, 2012

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Lil Wayne said that after a recent NBA playoffs ticket dispute he felt unwelcome and “unwanted” at the Oklahoma City arena and isn’t planning to return.

The rapper said two Thunder players — Kevin Durant and James Harden — had reached out to offer him tickets to Saturday’s fourth game of the Western Conference Finals.

“That’s not the point, though,” he told The Associated Press in an interview Friday night. “It’s the players stepping up but of course the players aren’t white. I don’t want to be sitting there on behalf of you and I’m sitting next to a (person) that’s like `I don’t want this (guy) sitting next to me.’ (Forget) you … I’m in Forbes,” he said, laughing.

Lil Wayne claimed in a tweet Thursday night that he had been “denied by the team to be in their arena.” The team responded by saying the seats he wanted were already taken.

But the Grammy-winning rapper, appearing at a Macy’s store in Los Angeles to promote his Trukfit clothing line, described a more complicated scenario.

He said he typically procures tickets for such games “from this guy named Mike.” Lil Wayne said Mike had requested special security, parking and entrance for the rapper, but Mike said the team responded that they would only sell the seats for Mike’s personal use.

Lil Wayne said a manager had advised him not to return to the city’s arena for sports events or concerts, but “I never say never.”

He said he felt welcome at other arenas including Miami, and likes being able to energize players — many of whom are fans of his music — on their home court.

“That’s like me going on stage and … seeing LeBron (James) in the crowd with his hand up. I’m going to perform a little bit harder,” he said.

But in Oklahoma, he said that while “the players want me there, I don’t want to feel — I’m going to still feel unwanted.”

“Of course, when someone tells Lil Wayne, `No,’ that he can’t come in, `We’re sold out,’ you feel a certain way. Unfortunately, it had to go down like that,” said Durant, the three-time NBA scoring champion.

“We’d have loved to have him here in Oklahoma City. We’d have welcomed him with open arms. Hopefully, we get past that and next time he can come and enjoy a game.”

A team spokesman has said Lil Wayne’s representatives insisted that he sit in the front row, and none of those seats were available. Oklahoma City sold out every home game during the regular season and playoffs.

“It was just a misunderstanding. We were sold out of tickets, I heard, and we didn’t come through,” Durant said. “He knows a few of us on the team and he knows it’s nothing like that. We offered him tickets to tonight but he had to do something. He’s a superstar in his own right, so he can’t just pick up and go to a game.

“He had something to do, but I’m sure if his schedule was free, he would have came tonight. We’re still inviting him to games — maybe not this year. Next year or whatever.”

7 People Shot After NBA Game

Tuesday, May 22nd, 2012

(AP) A late night fight that escalated into gunfire and left at least eight people wounded in Oklahoma City as thousands of spectators left an NBA playoff game just a few blocks away was likely not related to the game, police said Tuesday.

Capt. Dexter Nelson said there have been no arrests in the 11:30 p.m. Monday fight in the Bricktown entertainment district.

”All we’re hearing from some of the witnesses is there was pushing and shoving in the area,” Nelson said. ”Apparently a group of girls got into it with some guys. It was shortly thereafter that gunfire erupted.”

Emergency Medical Services Authority spokeswoman Lara O’Leary said seven people were taken to a hospital with gunshot wounds and that a pregnant woman was also taken to the hospital after she was assaulted in the scuffle.

O’Leary said the woman and six of the gunshot victims are in good condition Tuesday morning. One person is in critical condition.

Remembering Lisa Rene The 16 year Kidnap From TX And Murder In Arkansas

Wednesday, March 21st, 2012

Bruce Webster and another man on the federal death row here, Orlando C. Hall of El Dorado, Ark., were among five men whom prosecutors said kidnapped Lisa Rene from her Arlington, Texas, home to get revenge on her two brothers for a botched $5,000 marijuana deal. Over two days, she was taken to Arkansas, gang-raped, bludgeoned with a shovel and buried alive.

Rene, a native of the Virgin Islands who was living with relatives at the time of the abduction, was dragged from the family’s apartment as she pleaded with a 911 operator. “They’re trying to break down my door! Hurry up!” she said, according to a tape of the call.

A muffled scream is heard seconds later, with a man saying, “Who you on the phone with?” before the line goes dead.

Rene’s body was found in a shallow grave at a nature reserve in Pine Bluff on Oct. 2, 1994.

Webster was sentenced to death by U.S. District Court Judge Terry R. Means of the Northern District of Texas on Sept. 24, 1996, on a jury’s recommendation.

Webster would become the first prisoner put to death by the federal government since the March 18, 2003, execution of Louis Jones Jr., a Gulf War veteran who had raped and killed a female soldier, and the fourth since it resumed executions in 2001 after a 38-year suspension. The others were Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh and drug kingpin Juan Garza.

Three Year Old Boy Left For Dead After His Babysitter Sold Him For Sex In Exchange For Meth

Tuesday, June 28th, 2011

A three year old boy has been left fighting for his life after being ‘sold’ by his babysitter to two men who raped and tortured the toddler.

Police said the boy from Oklahoma was forced to drink bleach and had part of his skull torn off during the horrific assault.

His face, eyes and throat were all covered in chemical burns and he had been hanged from a ceiling with a dog collar.

Investigators said Jennifer Chapman, who was looking after the boy, allegedly offered the boy to two men for sex in exchange for methamphetamine.

The two men allegedly raped and tortured the boy for several hours before returning him to 43 year old Chapman at the Oklahoma motel where she was staying with the boy’s mother Leana Lauck.

According to police when Ms Lauck, 31, saw the injuries to her son she decided against taking him to hospital for urgent treatment and instead began taking meths with her friend.

An arrest report revealed that the boy, who has not been named, suffered for 18 hours before he was taken to hospital.

A police report revealed the toddler was taken to Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City with numerous bruises on his body.

He also had an injury on the base of his skull with the possibility of brain injury.

‘The scalp was removed, part of it,’ said family member Stacy Felkins.

His big sister said, ‘I saw people trying to make him drink stuff, then he went to sleep and I think he’s dead,’.

‘He may die and he’s had things happen to him that may never go away if he does make it. It makes me sick.’

‘I think jail would be too good for them,’ said Ms Felkins.

‘That’s the most evil thing you can do.’

Police say they are still searching for the two men responsible for the actual abuse.

The boy’s mother told police she knew her son was badly injured but was afraid to seek treatment for fear of what would happen to her.

She told detectives she chose to smoke meth while her son lay in agony in the same motel room.

‘To have somebody commit such an act of violence on an innocent child is horrific for anybody to see,’ said Oklahoma City Police Department Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow.

Ms Lauck has been charged with child neglect while Chapman faces similar charges.

Wife Accidentally Killed During Sex Game Now He Is Facing First Degree Murder Charges

Wednesday, December 29th, 2010

(CNN) — Arthur Sedille was up-front with police: He would
often put a gun to his wife’s head during fantasy sex play at their
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, home.

But Sedille said he didn’t know the gun was loaded when he pressed it
to his wife’s head and pulled the handgun’s slide back during sex on
the night of December 21.

Now Sedille, 23, is facing the possibility of a murder charge in
Canadian County, Oklahoma, in the death of his wife, 50-year-old Rebecca
Sedille
— who died when the handgun went off in their bedroom.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed by Oklahoma City
police, Sedille said the shooting was accidental. He called 911
afterward, according to
police.

Investigators decided to arrest and jail Sedille on suspicion of
first-degree murder out of an abundance of caution, said Oklahoma City
police Master Sgt. Gary Knight. However, as of Tuesday
afternoon, formal charges had not been filed in the investigation, which
is ongoing, Knight said.

He declined to comment on investigators’ findings so far.

Although a Canadian County judge found that probable cause exists to
hold Sedille on the murder charge, assistant district attorney Paul
Hesse
said Tuesday he has yet to receive a report from police on the case. As a
result, formal charges have not yet been filed, Hesse said.

Sedille remained jailed Tuesday in Oklahoma County,
Oklahoma. Police in Oklahoma City — which spans five counties and 700
square miles — book
all of their prisoners into that county’s jail, Knight said.
