(NEW HEAT) Damar Jackson ft. Gucci Mane – “Retawded” (VIDEO)

Monday, June 11th, 2018

“Retawded is something that’s big in our culture in Louisiana. We use this term in a good way and soon as I heard the beat I knew I was going go crazy. This song touches a lot of people in every city and small town because we all have a Martin Luther King street around the world. And as far as the south, we all know about Circle K. This is the song of the summer with the tempo and bounce. Me and Gucci chopped it up and he knew, as soon as he heard it, that it was a hit. I respect him for rocking wit me and recognizing my art. This is just the beginning of me becoming the new face of RnB.” – Damar Jackson

Reaching nearly 2 million views in less than a week, Damar Jackson is flexing big time with “Retawded”, his new video featuring Gucci Mane, off the album “Unfaithful Deluxe”. The Louisiana native is cutting a swath through the entertainment world. 2018 is his!

Gucci Mane Indicted In Federal Court Now Faces 20 Year In Prison On Gun Charges

Rapper Gucci Mane is facing federal firearms charges after authorities say he possessed guns on two occasions when police were called to investigate his behavior.

The rapper, whose real name is Radric Davis, faces two counts of possession of a firearm by a felon, the U.S. attorney’s office in Atlanta said Tuesday. Davis, 33, was indicted by a federal grand jury on Nov. 19.

Davis was found to have a gun on Sept. 12 and had a different gun in his possession two days later, prosecutors said. Prosecutors say he acted erratically and threatened people on both occasions.

“This is how people get hurt, and we are committed to ensuring that convicted felons not have guns,” U.S. Attorney Sally Quillian Yates said in a news release.

Davis’ lawyer Drew Findling said Tuesday he is reviewing information in the case and then will decide what action to take.

Last month’s indictment lists two felony convictions for Davis. He pleaded no contest to charges of aggravated assault and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in October 2005 after he was accused of hitting a promoter in the head with a pool cue. He also was convicted of possessing more than 20 grams of marijuana in Florida in June 2005, according to the indictment.

An Atlanta police officer responded on Sept. 12 “in reference to a subject inside of an office building acting upset,” according to a police report. Findling’s office is in that building, and Davis and the responding officer went in to speak to Findling, who told the officer he wanted Davis to leave “due to the way he was currently acting,” the report says.

A .45-caliber handgun containing eight rounds of ammunition was found with Davis’ stuff in the office. Davis said the gun belonged to his girlfriend who had dropped him off, and no one in the office had seen him with a gun, the report says. Atlanta police didn’t file any charges against Davis.

Findling declined to comment on what happened at his office.

Early Sept. 14, a man who said he was a friend of the rapper’s called police to say Davis was walking down the street behaving violently, according to a police report. When police arrived, Davis smelled strongly of marijuana, cursed at them, called them names and threatened to shoot them, the report says.

Police arrested him on a disorderly conduct charge and found a clear baggie with what they believe was marijuana and a loaded .40-caliber Glock handgun, the report says. An ambulance was called, and Davis was sedated and taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Something has gotten into Gucci Mane recently, because the Trapgod has been freely calling out anyone and everyone he has a problem with in the rap game. Gucci took to Twitter on Saturday, clearly frustrated with the hip hop climate and tweeted, “I’m challenging any rapper friend or foe to a boxing match. Put yo money up. Who got hands not raps. Who wants the challenge?”

Keyshia Cole Responds to Rumor of Sleeping With Diddy

Monday, October 15th, 2012

Gucci Mane really ruffled some feathers when he name dropped Keyshia Cole in the Young Jeezy diss track, “Truth,” where he claims that she had previously slept with Diddy. Jeezy and Cole used to be in a relationship, so Gucci used their past history to further get at Jeezy in their ongoing beef. On the track Gucci raps:

“I did a song with Keyshia Cole and I know you still miss her/But Puff was f-cking her while you was falling in love wit’ her.”

Keyshia has heard Gucci’s diss track and hit up her Twitter account to defend her name. She called him out for being a liar and said that he only used her to increase the sales for a mixtape. She concluded by saying that she is a mother and a wife who is too mature for this “nonsense.”

Check out her tweets above. Do you think Gucci just used her name for album sales, or do you think there is some truth behind his pretty random name drop?
