Rapper Boosie released from prison

News reports are coming indicating legendary Louisiana rapper Boosie (“Lil Boosie”) was released tonight from t he Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola.

The rapper whose government name is Torrance Hatch, has a huge following of faithful fans, many of whom believe he was targeted by Baton Rouge area law enforcement and politicians. Theorists have long suspected that Boosie was targeted because of his lyrics and some of the company that surrounded him. From those who know him best, Boosie was known for his philanthropic works in Baton Rouge, his hometown.

It is unclear at this time whether he has been released from custody, but what is known is that his fans are ecstatic. They know he is about to turn the urban music world into something never before seen!

BG’s sentencing postponed until June

Sentencing for BG has been postponed until June 13, 2012.

The former member of Cash Money’s Hot Boys faces 8 to 10 years in prison on gun charges. Federal prosecutors are expected to push for harsher sentencing.

In December of 2011, BG, whose government name is Christopher Dorsey, pleaded guilty. He was arrested with two other men in November 2009 for allegedly possessing three weapons, loaded magazines and two extended clips. The car he was in had been stolen from an Alamo rental car parking lot, and that two of the three guns had been reported stolen.
