A.O.

After picking up from Episode 1 and 2, A.O. unveils a new album Episode 3:  A Force to Be Reckoned With to be released on December 31st. Throughout his career, the Agency Operative has gone through a series of transformation to reach this point as a hip-hop artist. From writing in a journal to writing rhymes. Quickly, he went from playing trumpet to being a vocalist.

Shortly thereafter, there was a setback in which AO had to take a hiatus. The first album didn’t meet the financial success expected. So, the Agency Operative held back on releasing more projects. The first one could’ve been the last. The reason for creating another project would be – AO does not give up so quickly. Even though “Episode 1” did not reach financial success, the album did give him a better perception of how the music industry works.

A.O.

Another reason for putting out another project is that the graduate of TCNJ in 2009 has not seen much change in the economy. The job market continues to be limited to job opportunities. Not much has changed from the first album in 2011 to the current album in 2015. After graduation, A.O. continues to work temporary jobs with no offers for a permanent position. He decided to take his life in a new direction.

From the beginning, AO went by the stage name, King Kong. The reason for the name change was due to getting legal rights to the name. With that being said, the new name is  “The A.G.E.N.C.Y Operative.” Agency is an acronym (Agent Geared for Emissary to Navigate through Critical Conditions without yielding). Operative means secret agent. The Agency Operative is the secret agent of The Agency Headquarters and the name of the label. In 2010, the label launched, and the first single was “So Hot.”

What’s next?

With seven years into the game, the current status of A.O. is to continue with the mission. The third installment of his discography “Episode 3: A Force to be Reckoned With” will be released. “Episode 3: A Force to be Reckoned With” and will be available on Itunes and Google Play on December 31, 2017. Also, you can pre-order his album before its official launch.

As an agent on a mission, the journey will continue to fulfill the mission statement.  Connect with A.O. to be one of the first to download his latest project.

BATON ROUGE- The city police chief has confirmed to the Investigative Unit, the officer at the center of a scandal involving some racially charged text messages has resigned.

WBRZ and the station’s Investigative Unit broke the story Wednesday in an exclusive report by Chief Investigator Chris Nakamoto.

Wednesday, there were two investigations into the messages.

Part of the string of texts read, “They are nothing but a bunch of monkeys. The only reason they have this job is the n*****, n***** in them.”

The texts also read, “I wish someone would pull a Ferguson on them and take them out. I hate looking at those African monkeys at work…I enjoy arresting those thugs with their saggy pants.”

The NAACP called for the department to fire the officer involved.

Chief Carl Dabadie said officer Michael Elsbury handed in his resignation letter early Thursday morning. The officer was placed on administrative leave shortly after 6 p.m. on Wednesday night.

Chief Dabadie told News 2 the behavior will not be tolerated on the force, and said he was “sick to his stomach” after he read what the officer allegedly wrote.

Officer Elsbury was a 15-year veteran of the Baton Rouge Police Department and served in the 4th District. He had no prior disciplinary history, according to BRPD.

The messages were sent to someone who is not on the force.

Jay Z, Beyonce & Solange Issue Statement on Elevator Fight

(AP) — Jay Z, Beyonce and Solange say “families have problems and we’re no different” after a video leaked of Beyonce’s sister attacking the rap mogul in a hotel elevator.

In an exclusive statement to The Associated Press on Thursday, the trio said they have worked through their differences and moved on since the video emerged this week showing Solange kicking Jay Z as Beyonce looked on.

“As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it,” the statement said. “Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.”

It was the first comment the performers had made since the website TMZ posted the 3-minute video on Monday, saying it was shot last week inside the Standard Hotel. The video, which does not have audio, shows Solange attacking Jay Z in Beyonce’s presence; a security guard intervenes. The footage shows the performers in the outfits they wore to the Met Gala.

“The reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behavior throughout that evening are simply false,” the statement continued. “At the end of the day families have problems and we’re no different. We love each other and above all we are family. We’ve put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same.”

The hotel said Wednesday it had fired the person who recorded the video.

Jay Z, Mayor Garcetti Announce Summer L.A. Music Festival

Mayor Eric Garcetti teamed up with Jay Z during a news conference on Wednesday to announce a summer music festival that would be taking place in downtown Los Angeles this summer.

The two-day “Budweiser Made in America” concert is scheduled for August 30 and August 31 in Grand Park, according to a news release from Budweiser and the United Way of Greater Los Angeles.

“On Labor Day weekend, we’re going to celebrate our golden state of mind right here in L.A. with a sellout crowd, right here on the steps of City Hall and into Grand Park,” Garcetti said during the news conference.

About 50,000 people were expected to attend the two-day concert, according to Garcetti, who was credited with bringing the event to L.A. by Jay Z.

“Los Angeles, you all should be very proud of this incredible mayor you have, who pulled this thing together in record time,” Jay Z said. “Two years ago, he had a vision of putting together a music festival that blurred musical genre lines.”

The 19-time Grammy winner noted that local residents would have the benefit of being able to go to a music festival that wasn’t at “some far off place that you can’t get to.”

He added that the concert was meant to be inclusive and “not exclusive.”

The “Budweiser Made in America” music festival will also be held on the same two dates in Philadelphia, which has hosted the concert since 2012.

“We started two years ago in Philadelphia and had huge success,” Jay Z said. “I’m sure we’ll have even more success in Los Angeles. We’re very proud to be here.”

The two-day event could be a major boost to the L.A.’s economy, as Garcetti noted that the first concert in Philadelphia had an economic impact of $10 million on the city.

Some of the benefits from the L.A. location festival were expected to go to The United Way of Greater Los Angeles, according to L.A. City Council President Herb Wesson.

The music festival in Philadelphia would benefit the United Way of Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey, and the United Way of Lancaster County, the release stated.

The prospect of a concert in the city thrilled some L.A. residents.

“That’s pretty cool,” said Elizabeth Lee, who works in downtown. “That sounds fun.”

Others, however, expressed concerns that the festival would create more traffic in the city.

“Yeah, sure, why not add more traffic to downtown L.A.,” Bill Engvall said. “Let’s see how much we can take.”

“Early bird” tickets, including fees, cost $155 and were scheduled to go on sale Friday at 10 a.m., according to Ticketmaster’s website.

“I woke up and I weighed 146. I guess my body is operating in a crazy way…so I called my chef over again to cook me pasta, and then I had someone go pick me up a steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, and broccoli again, so, you know, just try to keep the weight on, and actually, when I went over to the arena, I weighed 49,” stated undefeated pound-for-pound king Floyd “Money” Mayweather, who gave FightHype.com an exclusive interview at his Big Boy Mansion just hours after his dominant and impressive victory over the previously undefeated Saul “Canelo” Alvarez.
