Gregory Smith, 27, (pictured) was found dead inside his red BMW in the restaurant’s parking lot on Sunday morning by his concerned girlfriend in Fayetteville, Georgia, after she went looking for him.

An Applebee’s manager was shot dead in his car on Sunday after locking up the restaurant in the early hours at the end of a night shift.

Gregory Smith, 27, was found inside his red BMW in the restaurant’s parking lot at 6.30am by his concerned girlfriend who had gone to look for him.

Applebee’s is offering a ‘significant’ reward for information leading to the conviction of the suspect who killed the store manager in Fayetteville, Georgia.

(AP) – In an unusually low-key turn to a high-profile case, George Zimmerman was released without incident around midnight Sunday from a Florida county jail on $150,000 bail as he awaits his second-degree murder trial for fatally shooting Trayvon Martin.

The neighborhood watch volunteer was wearing a brown jacket and blue jeans and carrying a paper bag. He walked out following another man and didn’t look over at photographers gathered outside. He then followed the man into a white BMW vehicle and drove away.

Aimee Michael Sentenced to 36 Years in Prison For Easter Sunday Wreck

ATLANTA — Aimee Michael, who was convicted in connection with the
deadly 2009 Easter Sunday wreck in south Fulton County was sentenced to
36 years in prison.

Her sentence includes 14 years probation. Prosecutors wanted her to
serve 50 years in prison, while the defense requested that she serve a
sentence of 10 years.

Michael was convicted Monday of vehicular homicide, hit-and-run and
tampering with evidence by hiring a mechanic to fix her BMW after she
triggered the chain-reaction wreck that killed five people. The jury
also found Michael guilty of causing a serious injury by vehicle and
misdemeanor traffic violations.

Michael apologized to the families involved before her sentencing.

Her mother, 52-year-old former school teacher Sheila Michael, was
sentenced to eight years in prison for her role in the cover-up.
