Today I met 3 amazing young men(Jamal Williams, Terrence Shivers, & Quinten Williams), that’s out here trying to better themselves, not be in the street or behind bars. They drove from Atlanta just to met me and when i say i felt so honored and blessed just to be in their presence, I know more than they were to be in mines. One of the young men just gave his life to christ sunday and when he told me, chills just went all through me because you don’t often here of 20 and 21 yr old young men doing that these days. What really stood out to me the most was they quit their jobs and move from Cleveland, Ohio to Atlanta, Ga on HOPE, A DREAM & FAITH!! I was so in shocked but it touched my heart to see them be so excited and in tune with who they were and what they want. I can’t express enough of how they love music and most of their own. When you REALLY love what you do, you will sacrifice, do without, and move in a way that no one would ever understand but it’s really not meant to be understood by everyone. These young men out here putting in work, getting scammed by people, etc but they refuse to give up. I asked “Why go so hard for this music that you putting out?” They told me “Well if you don’t believe in yourself or what you do, who will!” I couldn’t have said it better myself. “1 life” has so many meanings that I could go on and on about, but the name actually speaks volumes for itself. You only get “1” so you better make the best of the one you have, cuz when this one is over you can’t get a repeat!! Check out these young men song, watch they videos on YouTube and give them some love, I promise you won’t regret it. My Thoughts Of The Day

On Wednesday June 3rd 2015, I was sitting talking to a really good friend of mines and in our conversation I told her that I would love to meet “MRS. MUSHIYA” from the show “Cutting It In The ATL.” She told me to go on Instagram and send her a message, I said why not It’s worth a try. Within the hour after I sent the message, I got a call saying that I could go with “The Heat Magazine” and do a write-up on Mrs. Mushiya the very next day. Oh you see how fast GOD works, that’s what i told my friend. So I spoke it into the universe and it came to pass. I met Mrs. Mushiya that Thursday night and when i tell you that she is a FORCE TO BE RECKON WITH, honey that’s and understatement!! She’s so humbled and beautiful all in the same breath tho. When she found out about my battle with cancer, she was so amazed. She told me that I was beautiful, gave me a HUGE hug and kissed me on my cheek. I was so humbled, grateful and most of all shocked because she showed me that much love and didn’t know me from a can of paint. She told one of her colleagues about me, which her dad does nothing but research on cancer and took my info so that she could give to her dad for him to call me. I was so amazed myself, but I had to reflect back to why I was really there. That’s where GOD needed me to be at that very moment to do and get what he needed me too. When I say that I had a blast with Mrs. Mushiya and her crew from “THE DAMN SALON” 6780 Roswell Rd Ne. Atlanta, Ga, please believe me, I even won me a great gift! The Damn Salon specializes in ALL natural hair. She said “Who the hell says that natural hair has to be boring!!?” She believes that “BEAUTY” comes in many colors and shades no matter if they have kinky or straight hair. She also loves herself and want to teach more people to do the same. “Who cares what people think of you?” is what she always says. Can you imagine her face when she says that!? Yeah, I know right lol. You can find THE DAMN SALON in a more than just a few places like Atlanta, GA, Washington, DC, Charlotte, NC, New York, Houston, TX, and Montreal. You can also order the hair extensions from her brand called RUNWAY CURLS on her website www.thedamnsalon.com and any other info that you may want to know about this Phenomenal Woman. I’m so glad and honored that I had the pleasure meeting her!! My thoughts of the day!
Air bag maker Takata Corp. has agreed to declare 33.8 million of its inflator mechanisms defective, effectively doubling the number of cars and trucks that have been recalled in the U.S. so far.
The announcement was made Tuesday afternoon by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, which reached an agreement with Takata after sparring with the company for the past year over the size of the recalls and the cause of the problem with millions of air bags. It will be the largest recall in the agency’s history.
Many of Takata’s air bags can explode with too much force, blowing apart a metal canister and sending shrapnel into the passenger compartment. The air bags are responsible for six deaths worldwide and more than 100 injuries.
Ten automakers, including Honda Motor Co. and Toyota Motor Corp., have recalled 17 million vehicles in the U.S. and more than 36 million worldwide because of the problem. Those numbers will grow by millions because of the agreement, but it’s unclear which manufacturers will be most affected by the expanded recalls.
Automakers must conduct recalls even if they are for defective parts.
The Takata recall dwarfs last year’s highly publicized recall of 2.6 million General Motors small cars for defective ignition switches.
That’s one of the scariest things about synthetic marijuana, or K2, according to Wegner.
“You cannot reason with them. They act as if they can’t even understand the English language.”
Wegner says many users end up in the emergency room.
“These are chemicals that were put together that are not supposed to be put in your body and can have some very serious side effects.”
Often times it makes users become aggressive, violent and combative, according to Wegner.
“It’s hard to say how someone’s going to react. I’ve seen some just flat out pass out and sleep it off and then I’ve seen other become extremely violent.”
Arkansas banned synthetic marijuana in 2010, but Wegner said young people still seem to get their hands on it.
“Right now one of the biggest things we can do is especially educate parents because we’ve seen a lot of young kids come having being exposed to this stuff.”
According to Poison Control there are 47 different variations of K2 known in the state of Arkansas.
A man claimed one of the biggest rappers of the late-1990s grabbed thousands of dollars right out of his hand at a New Jersey gas station Easter Sunday.
A 21-year-old man told Newark Police that the incident began as a conversation between himself, DMX and the rapper’s entourage outside an Exxon gas station along the 600 block of McCarter Highway (Route 21) around 12:30 a.m.
DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, and the man began to talk about rap music, said police. During that conversation a member of DMX’s entourage pulled out a gun and demanded the victim turn over his money, according to police.
The victim took about $3,200 out of his pocket. The victim told police that DMX — who hails from Yonkers, New York — then grabbed the money out of his hand and got into one of four black Escalades driven by members of DMX’s crew.
A New York City teenager made the biggest catch of his life when he reeled in a 1,058-pound blue marlin off the coast of Hawaii.
Kai Rizzuto’s catch came in about 300 pounds short of the International Game Fish Association’s 1982 world record for blue marlin, which was caught in nearby Kaaiwi Point, about 10 miles up the Kona coast.
Kai, who lives in Brooklyn, visits his grandfather on the Big Island every year. He has been fishing since he was 2 and apprenticed as a deckhand on a charter boat two summers ago.
Before this, the biggest fish Kai caught was about 55 pounds, he told CNN. By comparison, this week’s catch came in at 14 feet long, about “five times as big as me” in terms of weight and twice his height, including the bill.
“He has quite a bit of experience in big game fishing, but this was the first time that he has been the guy on the rod and reel for a blue marlin,” Jim Rizzuto said.
Kai and his grandfather were out on the charter boat Ihu Nui — Hawaiian for “big nose” — near Kahaluu Beach along the Kona coast, on the west side of the Big Island, when he hooked the big fish Wednesday.
“It was jumping straight out of the water, fully breached, shaking its head trying to free itself,” Kai told CNN. “I was really hoping and praying that nothing would happen to this fish and that it wouldn’t break off [the line].”
It took Kai about 30 minutes to reel in the fish, which was so long that the tail end of it was hanging off the 45-foot boat, Jim Rizzuto said. From there, it took four people to lift the fish into the boat.
“This fish came to the boat dead, upside down on its back, there was no chance of reviving it,” he said. “By and large, we try and release every blue marlin we can as a conservation measure, but sometimes in a hard fight the fish dies and there is nothing you can do.”
Instead, the fish will be used for food, Rizzuto said. He estimates it can feed “a couple of hundred people.”
“Blue marlin is a high-quality protein. They have been eaten here forever, so when we get a very special fish like this, you turn it over to a fish cutter that makes sure everyone who wants a piece gets a piece.”
As Kai heads back to New York on Saturday, he returns with a few blisters on his hand and an unforgettable story that is drawing attention worldwide.
It also has invigorated his interest in marine biology, he said.
“This makes me want to go into ocean science or to study the bigger creatures out there,” Kai said. “Maybe I want to be a captain. I want to keep my options open.”

Nest Labs makes Internet-connected thermostats and smoke detectors.
It was founded by Tony Fadell, the guy most responsible for the iPod after Steve Jobs.
It’s incredible to think that he’s going to be working for Google considering Apple and Google are bitter enemies.
Fadell founded Nest two years ago. There were reports that he was looking at raising a fresh round of funding. Looks like he decided to sell instead. Nest had raised $230 million in funding to date. Google Ventures was one of its biggest backers.
Nest’s beautifully designed thermostat sells for $250. It can be controlled remotely through a smartphone. It also learns your behavior and adjusts the temperature automatically over time.
