Thursday, May 14th, 2015

Taco Bell is applying for a liquor license for a new Taco Bell franchise in the Wicker Park neighborhood that will also feature a “completely new urban restaurant design.” In other words, it sounds like Taco Bell is going for a more upscale vibe in this location… and yes, we just burst out laughing after using the words “Taco Bell” and “upscale” in the same sentence.

Father-of-one Romario Dos Santos Alves, 25, used the potentially lethal cocktail to pump up his biceps to 25in and he now faces a catalogue of serious health issues.

The former bodyguard said using the synthetic filler synthol cost him his sanity and nearly his life as he tried to kill himself when his wife was six months pregnant.

He said his swollen muscles terrify children in his hometown of Caldas Novas in Brazil and they call him a ‘beast’ and a ‘monster’.

Scottie Pippen’s daughter arrested for urinating in hotel lobby

Tuesday, April 28th, 2015

The daughter of former Chicago Bulls all-star Scottie Pippen was arrested Sunday morning for urinating in a hotel lobby.

According to Iowa City police criminal complaints, around 1:30 a.m., 20-year-old Sierra M. Pippen entered the lobby of the Sheraton Inn, urinated on the floor and left.

Hotel staff told police they recognized Pippen from an earlier incident.

Pippen was found in the walkway next to the hotel. She appeared to be intoxicated and smelled of alcohol, police said. Police said Pippen was wearing two bar wrist bands.

Pippen refused to participate in field sobriety and breath tests and also accused the officer of being a racist, police said. She was arrested on charge of public intoxication and public urination.

According to criminal complaints, Sunday morning’s incident was Pippen’s second at the hotel this month.

On April 10, Pippen got into a fight with security at the hotel and was arrested after admitting to being drunk and submitting to a breath test that showed her blood alcohol content to be .141 percent.

Pippen is a University of Iowa student. Her father was a six-time NBA champion and seven time NBA All-Star with the Chicago Bulls.

Pharrell Williams and Robin Thicke Head to Court Over Marvin Gaye Copyright-Infringement You Be The Judge

Wednesday, February 25th, 2015

Robin Thicke took the stand Wednesday to face the family of Marvin Gaye, which has claimed his hit “Blurred Lines” ripped off Gaye’s song, “Got to Give It Up.”

Thicke admitted that “Got to Give It Up” is one of his favorite songs, and that it’s a classic.

He’d previously said as much in a TV interview, but then claimed that he gave that quote while under the influence of alcohol and Vicodin.

In a lawsuit they filed in 2013, Thicke, Pharrell Williams and Clifford Harris Jr. (aka, T.I.) defended themselves against reported accusations by Gaye’s loved ones that the singers stole parts of “Got to Give It Up,” for “Blurred Lines.” However, in October, a judge sided with the Gaye family, ruling that their musicological experts had given enough evidence to allow the case to go to trial.

A former Baltimore Ravens cheerleader and the estranged wife of a prominent Maryland energy executive has been arrested and charged in connection with a sexual relationship involving a 15-year-old boy.

Delaware State Police said Wednesday that 47-year-old Molly Shattuck was indicted Monday on two counts of third-degree rape, four counts of unlawful sexual contact and three counts of providing alcohol to minors. She was released on $84,000 bond after a Wednesday arraignment.

First intimate encounter happened at an AMC Theater where Shattuck and the boy kissed and touched each other sexually. The incident continued in the back seat of Shattock’s Escalade in the parking lot of a middle school.

Police report the relationship culminated with sexual activity at a vacation rental home in Bethany Beach, Delaware, over Labor Day weekend.

Shattuck’s attorney didn’t return a call for comment.

Shattuck gained celebrity status when she became the oldest cheerleader in NFL history at the age of 38. Shattuck is separated from Mayo Shattuck, former CEO of Baltimore-based Constellation Energy Nuclear Group. She has three children of her own, aged 15, 13 and 11.

Justin Bieber Names His Mom as His Source for Pills

Thursday, January 23rd, 2014

After being grilled by police about what drugs he took prior to his arrest, Justin Bieber wound up naming his mother, Pattie, and bringing her into the pool of drama. According to what law enforcement reported to TMZ, Bieber eventually admitted to police that he was under the influence of Rx medicine, alcohol, and marijuana. However, he wasn’t sure what pills he took specifically, only that they are “anti-anxiety” such as the drug Xanax, and that he just takes what is handed to him by his mother.

The problem here, is that if Justin has no official prescription for the drugs in question, then it would be illegal for him to use his mother’s prescription medicine, and therefore his mother would have to face the wrath of the law. If he does have a prescription, then the drugs found in his system won’t be held against him in court. Bieber blew a .04 level of alcohol, and even though it’s below he limit to be deemed too intoxicated to drive, he is underage, so it’s already a problem. His mother has yet to comment on Justin bringing her into the situation.

Man Faces Attempted Murder Charge for Throwing Baby off Balcony

Thursday, January 16th, 2014

A Kissimme, FL., man is facing attempted second degree murder charges after throwing his two-year-old son from a second-floor motel balcony.

Juan Pablo Maradiaga was watching the child while his mother, who is separated from Maradiaga, was working a shift at Seven 11.

Mother Rosa Fabian says she received a call from Maradiaga saying he was frustrated and pleaded with her to come get the child. Faian told him she was unable to leave work in the middle of her shift. 30 minutes later, the man tossed his child 12 and a half feet off the balcony. Maradiaga, who police say reeked of alcohol, then tumbled over the balcony and landed near the toddler.

The two-year-old boy suffered a broken arm, fractured eye socket, abrasions, and large knot on his head. Maradiaga suffered a broken ankle, and won’t appear in front of a judge until he’s adequately recovered from his injury.
