STILL ON THE GRIND: Big Ramp

If ever there was an individual who has his hand in just about every aspect of the entertainment industry, that is Big Ramp.
Rapper, radio and television personality, star of his own show BigRampTV as well as popular and long running hip hop show Phat Phat n All That, mentor, and wrestler – yes indeed, the man’s been busy folks and it doesn’t seem like his schedule will slow down any time soon.
In fact, Big Ramp is preparing for the upcoming release of his new mixtape, “Red City Deluxe Edition“, among countless other projects.
We recently caught up with Big Ramp and here’s how the conversation went:
THE HEAT MAGAZINE: Tell us about the mixtape project.

BIG RAMP: Well, it’s called “Red City Deluxe Edition”. It’s me reintroducing myself to my fans and introducing myself to newer listeners over banging tracks.
THE HEAT MAGAZINE: Are there any other artists featured on it?

BIG RAMP: Yes, I have a lot of big features, but you gotta get the mixtape to see who’s on this one.
THE HEAT MAGAZINE: What else are you working on?

BIG RAMP: Well, I’m recording my album, doing joint projects with Dj Slab 1, Polo Tee, Big Face, Fog, Team Vixen, DJ Kutmaster Slimm, NOUE, and more. After “Red City Deluxe Edition”, I will release seven other solo mixtapes, five films, continue to shoot Phat Phat N That and BigRampTV, continue writing for other artists, continue mentoring up and comers and taking this music back to where it needs to go, and my in ring wrestling debut is to be announced.

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: What can we expect to see from Ramp in the future?
BIG RAMP: In the future, I plan to distinguish my brand of entertainment back on the proper platform.
EDITOR’S NOTE: Big Ramp is a prolific and talented entertainer whose brand is only growing by the day. Stay tuned and make sure to download “Red City Deluxe Edition.” Big Ramp, we salute you as one of the hardest working men in the industry. Keep representing us well!
