CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Peaceful protests quickly turned into chaos in the streets of uptown Charlotte Wednesday night, as demonstrators gathered in response to the shooting of 43-year-old Keith Scott.
An organized protest began at Marshall Park at 7 p.m., with hundreds of people gathered peacefully with chants of “No justice, no peace” and “black lives matter.”
