Former Dallas Mavericks ManiAAc dancer Erbie Bowser was arrested at the scene of a violent DeSoto, Texas shooting spree. He’s accused of opening fire in two homes as he looked for his ex-girlfriend, killing four people and injuring four others.
Police were called to a home in Dallas around 10:30 p.m., where they found four gunshot victims, two of whom had died. Bowser then allegedly headed to DeSoto and opened fire in another home, killing two and injuring two young boys aged 11 and 13.
DeSoto police Cpt. Melissa Franks couldn’t confirm that an explosive was used in the attack, despite several media outlets reporting the story, as they are currently awaiting results from a Dallas bomb squad investigation.
Toya Smith, 43, was killed at the home in Dallas and was identified by relatives as Bowser’s ex-girlfriend. Bowser’s ex-wife, who hasn’t been identified, reportedly owned the home that was shot up in DeSoto.
