(NEW HEAT) Damar Jackson ft. Gucci Mane – “Retawded” (VIDEO)

Monday, June 11th, 2018

“Retawded is something that’s big in our culture in Louisiana. We use this term in a good way and soon as I heard the beat I knew I was going go crazy. This song touches a lot of people in every city and small town because we all have a Martin Luther King street around the world. And as far as the south, we all know about Circle K. This is the song of the summer with the tempo and bounce. Me and Gucci chopped it up and he knew, as soon as he heard it, that it was a hit. I respect him for rocking wit me and recognizing my art. This is just the beginning of me becoming the new face of RnB.” – Damar Jackson

Reaching nearly 2 million views in less than a week, Damar Jackson is flexing big time with “Retawded”, his new video featuring Gucci Mane, off the album “Unfaithful Deluxe”. The Louisiana native is cutting a swath through the entertainment world. 2018 is his!

Just in time for Mother’s Day, the visuals for “BTY YoungN Mama” were released. By all accounts, the song was one that was close to the heart of the late, great BTY YoungN.

There probably was no fact about the artist/songwriter that was better known, than of the love he had for his mother. A lot of broken hearts were left behind when BTY YoungN’s life was taken, but fortunately, he left behind a lot of his unreleased art, including this special video featuring Kango Slimm of the legendary group, Partners-N-Crime.

(NEW HEAT) J Lyric – “Wake Up Mr. West” (VIDEO)

Tuesday, May 1st, 2018

New Orleans artist/activist J Lyric is no stranger to controversy when it comes to marring politics with his music. He’s well-known for his political stance, as can be seen from his Twitter and Instagram posts. His most recent offering is a single entitled “Dear Mr. West”, when he calls out Kanye West on his recent seemingly change of position on politics, particularly his siding with President Donald Trump – something that most who wish to see social change would never do.

The visuals for “Dear Mr. West” clearly demonstrate what was on J Lyric’s heart when he penned the lyrics to the song. It is a most important video in this political climate, amid racial turmoil across the U.S. The single is available for download and streaming on all digital platforms.
