Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, Boome is currently working out of Dallas, Texas and he is making a name for himself all around the country.

This is a special and talented artist and a rising star.  Just speaking with Boome, one gets the impression that he is a well-spoken, intelligent gentleman who can hold his own – but put him on a track and he is a beast.

Boome has made quite a name for himself, especially in and around Dallas.  He has headlined multiple independent tours around the country and has opened shows for B.O.B., Devin da Dude, Big Tuck, and quite a few more artists, in addition to collaborating with Big Tuck and Lil’ Flip.  His nationwide album, “New King on the Block”, dropped last year to a warm reception.  His new album, “Citizen Kane” is still in production and set for release in April.

Boome’s producer, D-Dot, tells us that he has created some amazing singles.  “Suicide Off the Moon“, the first single, is expected to be considered a very powerful record by critics because of its dark but energetic feel.

When asked about the direction of the new single and the highly anticipated album, Boome said, “I finally found my lane with this one.  This single is actually positive.  It simply talks about reaching a snapping point, but after actually finding strength from it and having nothing to lose, going for everything. ‘Citizen Kane’ to me is my masterpiece.  That’s why I took my time on this one.  This album will probably recreate a lot of people’s direction on what quality music is. I put myself in a different mindset and I try to find inspiration in hard places. I wanted to make the best album that I could possibly make, kind of like a track runner trying to run his best time. This album has been one hell of a journey for me and I enjoyed every bit of it.” Make sure to look for ‘Citizen Kane’ in stores Spring 2011.
