(KTHV) — An arrest warrant has been issued for renown boxer and Arkansas native Jermain Taylor.
According to Capt. Carl Minden with the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, the warrant is for second degree battery after Taylor allegedly hit someone at the Oasis Renewal Center.
Authorities plan to arrest Taylor at 9 a.m. Friday when he appears in court.
THV11 reported in January that Taylor was arrested after a man said that the boxer shot at him and pointed a gun at his wife and children. He was charged with two counts of battery, three counts of aggravated assault, one count of possession of substance, and third-degree endangering a minor.
In early March, Taylor was released to a recovery center “with electronic monitor and reports of behavior.”
