A huge alligator caused a bit of a traffic jam in south Texas on Tuesday.

The 10-and-a-half-foot gator was sprawled out in the middle of highway near County Road 73 near the city of Sinton.

Drivers called the sheriff’s department, who, along with TxDOT, had to lasso the reptile and moved it off the roadway with a backhoe.
