Adopted daughter using Facebook to find mother, long lost siblings

Katie McGlade, 22, of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, was born at home in 1992 and then brought to a local hospital where she was put up for adoption, and now she is looking for her birth mother.

A young woman given up for adoption at birth is turning to Facebook in hopes of finding her family.

Katie McGlade, 22, of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, was born at home in 1992 and then brought to a local hospital where she was put up by the Catholic Social Agency Diocese of Allentown.

Her birth mother however gave them no information other than to say she had two older children, and now McGlade has been searching for her and the brother and sister she yearns to meet.

‘Hi! My name is Kathleen McGlade and I’m trying to locate my birth mother. I was born at home in Easton PA on September 21, 1992 and brought to Easton Hospital in Easton PA,’ writes McGlade
