A funeral for a murder victim turns into a deadly shooting Thursday afternoon.

DeKalb Police say after an argument outside the funeral of 19-year-old Ryan Guider, an unknown person opened fire. A gunfight broke out and two people were killed, two others were injured.

Witnesses say they saw Marcus Ventress, at the church, however police have not been able to confirm that he was there.

It happened at the Victory for the World Church on Hairston Road near Central Drive in Stone Mountain.

“This tragedy is another reason why people of all faiths must come together in coalition with public safety officials and elected officials to stem the rising tide of youth violence in the African American community,” says Dr. Samuel, Senior Pastor of Victory For The World Church.

Ventress is accused of killing Guider several weeks ago after Guider was allegedly breaking into his home.
